19/11/2009 13:19 | I was a long term holder until about a year ago when I sold into the usual mark up (3.75p) until about 9am after the results. Glad now I bought back at 8.01am after the results a week or so ago when the mm's marked it down this time(2.5p). This buy was after a cursory glance at the accounts suggested they were having some success in their long promised international strategy. Looking at the accounts from a potential suitors point of view, the SG&A is very high at 6m and probably easily cut in half by an industry buyer. So putting 3m on a multiple of 10 you get to 17.5p per share. This of course ignores the fact that there balance sheet is very strong and the international business is doing well. This share appears well undervalued in a bid situation and any competitive bidding could see a nice price. All imo of course. | velvetide

18/11/2009 20:05 | A 500k '?' trade marked at 16.28; now I wonder what that means ...... What are the odds that it turns out to be a director 'buy'? | ansc
18/11/2009 16:39 | don't tell me : a target pf 3.1p I am holding my breath for this moonshot. | platts
18/11/2009 10:44 | Seymour Pierce has a sell for Enterprise Inns, a buy for Europa Oil & Gas, upgrades Fulcrum Pharma to outperform from hold with a 3.1p target, | andrbea

16/11/2009 11:41 | The Money Makers don't seem to know which way to turn at the moment hence the ridiculously tight spread - for FUL - of 2.75/2.90p. If the trades marked on Friday are to be believed, another 500k has disappeared out of their coffers. They must have their fingers AND toes crossed that a few sellers appear on the scene today and that the buyer, whom snapped up that 321k on Friday afternoon, isn't still lurking. What an intriguing scenario..... | ansc
14/11/2009 14:43 | I'm waiting for Fulcrum to open up an office in China what a prospect wonder if they are thinking of it ;-} | gimeabreak

13/11/2009 12:31 | It looks as though the Money Makers have been forced to admit defeat in their lamentable attempt at a bluff yesterday. Another hefty 190k 'buy' recorded this morning and, if there's any director buy announcement forthcoming, this would be back above 3.00p before you could say "MMs have been stuffed". Ah, what a shame..... | ansc
12/11/2009 19:47 | A 250k 'buy' marked just before the close @ 2.90p. It'll be interesting to see how the Money Makers react tomorrow with buyers having swamped sellers today; their stock cupboards must surely be looking fairly depleted now. | ansc
12/11/2009 15:22 | Taken from the chairman's report: 'Future Strategy and Outlook Despite the financial environment in 2009, the Group continues to predict an increased trend to outsourcing driven by larger pharma and biotechnology companies and underpinned for the Group by our expertise in the neglected diseases / not-for-profit sector. Fulcrum Pharma celebrated 10 years of business operations in September 2009. The Group's experience in the sector and the excellence of the staff convince management of the opportunity to grow the business. The second half of 2009 showed a pick up in business development enquiries and bids providing encouragement that the business will continue to grow in 2010. The Group has a clear strategy to deliver a growing, sustainable and profitable business. The actions management has taken in 2009 will allow Fulcrum Pharma to function more efficiently in 2010. | ansc

27/10/2009 12:57 | ansc I took advantage a few months ago at 2.25p and have got all I wanted - doubt we'll see that price again! Like you, I've been patient with this company and first acquired a couple of years or so ago at 3.5p so I'm breaking even now. I believe the potential is there and progress has been made (otherwise I wouldn't hold) - I believe the results soon will justify my investment. dyor | mountain man
27/10/2009 10:22 | Oh no, another sizeable buy (192k) has gone through this morning and look what its done to the share price This shouldn't be happening, after all, the thread 'experts' did tell us the price was going to bomb. Dear oh dear, at this rate I'll soon be showing a profit! | ansc |
