26/1/2018 10:31 | Historically it was Nanoscience Inc. (epic was NAN)qhich had an share price high of about 20p (800 equiv) and Toumaz (epic was TMZ) which may have peaked just above 11p which is where it was when AS and JA took over (so they've taken share price down from 440p to c170p)- change to Frontier (FST) was simultaneous with a 40 to 1 consolidation when price was c. 2p Last major fundraising was about £17.2m at 4p (160p in new money) in November 2013 - 442m old shares issued then. Since that time, they've managed with "just" the £5m drawdown facility, which has been, at least partially, repaid. | the drewster
26/1/2018 10:11 | I agree. I'm sure that if these announcements were made via RNS then the share price would be much higher now. However, looking on the bright side it gives a chance for those of us in the know to buy in at cheap prices. Once the accounts show the money flowing - that will be visible via an RNS - then the share price will react accordingly. | mark4231
26/1/2018 09:53 | I use googlesheets and LON:FST doesn't help to get any historic info to generate some numbers for myself. You're right chillpill. Before investing here, I also browsed their website and found much more info than in RNS+here. IG is showing this RNS but VOXMarkets isn't on my watched list. | ashehzi
26/1/2018 07:37 | All of these various third party contracts have been announced recently and all relate to google Reminder we also have Amazon functionality to sell and it sounds like Apple airplay 2 as well :) I think I’ll start keeping a list of which third party is buying which chip! The market is vast | john09
26/1/2018 07:27 | That’s fantastic news. Not RNS but that’s the way it does things we should get used to it. I like it . So you’ve got a micro cap £69m market cap company here working with google and putting google voice capability in a whole raft of third party branded products.... | john09

25/1/2018 18:56 | Frontier has developed silicon solutions incorporating Google and Amazon's software and voice algorithms, so that third parties can launch VPA products. Companies like Microsoft and IBM will also want to get in on the action and I suspect there will be deals with Frontier in 2018. | nw99
25/1/2018 11:55 | loc - totally agree on both comments | ianood
25/1/2018 11:14 | Nod, I think what will excite the markets in 2018 will be more evidence of the voice activated market taking off and Frontier getting a good slice of the action. The update was good but the delivery, as usual, was flat. The CEO obviously prefers the under promise, over deliver style of management which is better than the other way around, eg IMG. Smart speakers are only getting going this year via third parties and, as the update said, Frontier want to be the leading multi-ecosystem voice activation supplier and have a good chance of achieving it. | life of crime
25/1/2018 11:11 | Contract win with Apple or Samsung will send this to £10 Apple mentioned today for first time - i think Apple approval would have been sought to mention them in the RNS which signifies importance to Apple | lucicavi
25/1/2018 11:02 | Okay statement. Inline will not generate much excitement.I don't know what will excite the market during 2018 now that CES is over. | nod
25/1/2018 10:55 | Peel Hunt BUY, 170p target. | aishah
25/1/2018 10:27 | EBITDA isn't profit. No profits mentioned AFAIK | project77
25/1/2018 10:15 | Added more @170p | ashehzi
25/1/2018 10:03 | Anther little top up ;) Quite happy to go heavy on these for the year ahead | john09
25/1/2018 09:37 | Long term holder here, through the health care shenanigans and all. Although I would have preferred a more exciting update from FST, it's fine. The company is profitable and is poised and ready with products to take advantage of the Digital Radio and Smart Audio markets as soon as they take off. Just some patience required now whilst those markets come to them and then the excitement will begin. | mark4231
25/1/2018 09:31 | Wouldn’t be surprised If there were some big orders being put together behind the scenes . I think this is the best price you’ll get in this year | john09
25/1/2018 08:54 | My buy order triggered | john09
25/1/2018 08:39 | Slowly, slowly catch the monkey. It's all going on the right direction. Digital radio will do well in 2019 and 2020 as other European countries switch off. Italy announced it will happen in 2020 and the UK aren't far off as with other ones. The real growth should be Smart Audio. | chillpill
25/1/2018 08:23 | These are so far the best results in the company’s history. Net cash improved, debt reduced, revenues increased and now profitable from what was a loss making business. | iamnoone
25/1/2018 08:19 | MM's took a view on the update as they often do and marked it up first thing but then got swamped by sales - profit taking I guess. It will recover for sure as nowt wrong with that statement As our cricketing friend says, Anthony S. is famous for underplaying things. | bowles22
25/1/2018 08:16 | Topped up - been waiting since scsw added them to growth portfolio | essential |
