Raising money is a problem full stop in London right now where there is deemed any sort of political risk.

anyone get the impression raising money proved difficult? 600k is a v small amount and was placed at a steep discount with jack having to stump up 135k of it to get it away?

Its good to see institutional support for the last fundraising with city financial increasing its stake to 9.3%. Also rare these days to have the ceo and founder subscribe for stock. Well done Mr Keyes and your shareholders. Namibian oil ministry due in London on 21st July lets hope it highlights the great opportunities in Namibia.

Picked some up on Friday. They were piling in at 2.5p the day before and then
they sell as low as 1.9p easy for the mm's to profit now the mm's will take it
higher to get the sellers to chase and buy back higher.

On the first day were there was big volume where did the buyers come from, mm have been taking stock all the way down from 7p, They wouldn't want to sell them at these levels.

The equity swap deal was quashed. Energean are an explorer looking at thw middle east if that makes sense. Clear conflict of interest.

Yes, short term, I think a few probably got in and out yesterday. When a share goes up more than 10% it often brings in a few new chancers.

My point about a seller though was that the share price has dropped (i.e. there have been more buys than sells) ever since that director left. Coincidence? This is what makes me wonder if he's the main seller. I saw he had a directorship of that other company too already but any thoughts on exactly what the conflict of interest was?

Incidentally your posts have been useful for my research, appreciated.

Whoever is selling is selling at a loss except the recent institution investor. And they have promised to hold onto them. The time of day of the sells is telling also. A lot are after 12pm.

Andrew Grosse is Exploration Director of Energean. That was where the conflict of interest came from. The seller was not him imo. Beauforts was the company idea.

Hard life being a mm selling stock then drop the bid 10% and then watch people
sell it is too easy to make millions in this game if you are a mm.

I'm also noting the annual report 2012 was released this time last year (beginning of June). Reading through 2012's its good to see the director's salary not being ridiculous for a company of this size and Keyes has a very decent number of shares thus incentive to do well for shareholders.

Interesting to see no mention of Andrew Grosse on here and the RNS of his resignation due to "due to a potential conflict of interest to concentrate on his other business interests."



Not concerned that he resigned, but the share price started to drop straight afterwards. I presume he'd be under 3% so not requiring to notify but

He had 5,102,499 shares. So I cannot help but wonder if he may be a seller and this is what has trashed the share price from 4p to 2p of late?

I may be barking up the wrong tree, but given 5m traded the last couple of days, if it is him, then he might not have many to go given the renewed interest here.
