Price for PC2 has always been £39.99 as far as I know and Frontier have always had a Halloween sale for their older titles, nothing new there.Less than one week to go until the release of the much anticipated PC2 which has lots of pre-release hype and great reviews across social platforms/forums and gaming media. Looking for an 'in-line' or beat in the next trading update to finally break this through £3 and onwards to the next target. Chart has bounced back recently, Viking have taken 5% stake and may still be adding. They have a good track record. Many investors who bought at the lows are holding for a longer-term recovery over many years now Frontier have changed their strategy back to CMS games which has been working so far, hence the 'better than expected' trading updates and 150%+ gain from the lows. Sector has been out of favour but could that be changing now.Personally feel FDEV and TM17 are potential acquisition targets.

I’m trying to understand this rally so throwing out my thoughts to the community to find a reason to buy. Revenues are still declining and forecast to be flat in 25 although the management have suggested they will turn a profit. Heavily loss making for 23 and 24, 22 flat. Margins severely squeezed indicating poor fiscal management and overoptimism during the extraordinary and temporary COVID growth cycle. Ignoring the disposal of RCT3 rights, redundancy and tax credits the cash position would be 13 million at year end. Impairments booked for underperforming titles in 24. NTAV ps 60p, nearly halved YOY. A big chunk of shares sold to Working Capital Advisors to keep the lights on, no major institutions holding a significant stake. I have not followed the company closely so don’t really understand why management couldn’t capitalise on the COVID boom. I think I’ll leave it alone and then watch it double in price.

Based on my crude calculations, I estimate they have made about 100k unit sales so far in pre-orders.

Analyst estimates are 250-300k I believe for year 1 sales. PS2 will smash that.

Strange they rise in notification that a few directors share option have lapsed because of the poor performing share price Don’t understand it but sure these gains will be given up by weekend. Roll on post Budget, and see where we land then.

Thanks Parob. Encouraging that he says the UI and menu layout is "mostly the same as before", as that's a major concern for me. A lot of negative noise around the UI for PC. However, this reviewer somehow manages to write an entire review without telling us if he’s on the console or PC version, so it could just be that he’s playing on console and Frontier haven’t overhauled the PC UI.

Unisoft popped yesterday on possible Tencent buyout news. Tencent owns 8.8% of Frontier too.
