16/5/2018 10:34 | The picture of FDEV's future DB painted at the meeting back in feb was for 1 game release a year from now on, getting to something like 8-10 games which have multi year lifecycles and are supported by DLC etc. Looking that far out seems crazy but investors could probably do a lot worse than just hold onto these for the long term. A great JWE game and high decent sales are an important part of this of course and could be the launch pad for a step up in market cap, revenue and profit... the long term vision for investors that hang on could generate superb returns, imo only. | nimbo1
16/5/2018 08:19 | Morning Sogo, welcome. btw, KWS maybe worth a look around current price level. Same sector. Price nr 50% retrace of prior rise. | bamboo2
16/5/2018 02:50 | Indeed, bamboo. Bought the break-out. | sogoesit
15/5/2018 23:21 | Price closed above ath and historical resistance. Chart pattern [Bowl] with min tp of 1765 confirmed. | bamboo2
15/5/2018 19:54 | T Rex video released early (Tuesday not a Friday) to celebrate the breakout | m4ybe
15/5/2018 14:57 | It could still go wrong, but the combo of a successful launch plus the announcement of a new franchise would surely be explosive. And the point is that these are not games in the old sense - they have longevity, and a stable of franchises brings year on year growing income. | mad foetus
15/5/2018 14:45 | up to 6th place as I post (10th this morning) :-#) | melf
15/5/2018 13:13 | Ref Steamspy, it may not be dead just yet.The developer has a new algorithm which is supposedly accurate but only available to paid backers at the moment. Something like 10dollars/month for a year. So if anyone wants to try it...!Maybe it will become free again in time. | ck1111
15/5/2018 12:57 | Agreed - and the point is that the current share price isn't pricing in a monster hit for me. The more evidence we get of a potential hit the closer the share price gets to £30 imho. | allstar4eva
15/5/2018 12:43 | We'll have to wait and see but it is certainly looking very, very good - it's not just that it is on the Steam best sellers front page but that it has consistently been there for the last 2 weeks, and that is still with 4 weeks still to go to release. Then there are the PS4 and Xbox One sales that they didn't have for Planet Coaster. For me, I feel that JWE is definitely going to do well (to support the current share price) and that there is real potential for a monster hit. It's just such a shame that Steam Spy is no longer available in its previous form for us to have some numbers. | mark4231
15/5/2018 12:06 | I certainly think early sales are showing decent momentum but its too early to call a monster hit, although of course I hope it will turn into one. Within the past 24 hours its been as high as number 4 (where it sits now!) on the UK steam sales list, top 10 in the China Steam page and mostly been in the top 25-20 of the global bestsellers list. With regards to this share price move there is clear institutional buying given the price move and high volumes. | nimbo1
15/5/2018 11:43 | Great news! Do we have a monster hit on our hands? | allstar4eva
15/5/2018 11:35 | JWE in the top 10 as I post :-#) | melf
15/5/2018 09:54 | New developer diary video of JWE just released FYI by FDEV: | rivaldo
15/5/2018 08:59 | Trying to break, looking very tasty. | mad foetus
15/5/2018 07:59 | Saw my first JW Fallen Kingdom film advert on tele last night. Opens 22 June in the US. Time is nearly upon us. | hpcg
14/5/2018 10:42 | Important weekend just past regarding further snippets of info ref the game and more first impressions from players from the universal event where they were allowed to play for 10 mins each. You can find all the chat on reddit if you want - link below. Apparently there will be a fallen kingdom dlc pack when the film releases in america - not sure if this will be paid for content or not. 'My experience with JWE Was absolutely phenomenal. The game is as fluid as water and very intuitive in controls. I won't spoil anything (so please don't ask). Also Jeff Goldblum was part of the guest panel for Sunday the 13th (icing on the cake' 'Snapshot of my demo while at JP 25 event, the pic doesn’t do justice but they are so detailed that you can see the dinosaurs actually getting wet from the raining hence the shiny look. Frontier has my vote of confidence as always!' hxxps://www.reddit.c | nimbo1
14/5/2018 09:29 | riv, On the last market price based chart I have the ath at 1540 on 8/1/2018. We are therefore at historical resistance. From a chart pattern pov, once we have have an eod close above this level, there are some very juicy target prices. For example, if we looked at the last four months or so as a Bowl, the minimum tp would be around 1765. | bamboo2
14/5/2018 08:52 | Nice start to the week. New highs? | rivaldo
10/5/2018 15:32 | nimbo - yes, way less risky now. This was inevitably the case IMO, I think I wrote as such. The share price at the beginning of the year, having risen considerably, necessarily discounts something bad happening at the last minute. As time to release grows nearer, and fewer bad things can happen anticipation grows. As we have seen people are now factoring better than anticipated results into the share price given the pre-sales evidence. | hpcg
10/5/2018 15:22 | I agree nimbo, I'm glad I'm not the only one exited! I really didn't expect the pre-order to be on page 1 of the top seller list until maybe the week before release. Instead, it has consistently been there for the last week now and we still have just under 5 weeks to go to release. The response on social media etc has been great and I'm sure there is still a lot more for FDEV to reveal in the coming weeks building up the hype even more. I think it's going to do way better than Planet Coaster (that did just fine) and in addition JWE is available on PS4 and Xbox One too. Plus, we've got the announcement of the next franchise still to come too of course. From what I recall the FDEV share price was pretty flat up to the release of Planet Coaster and then took off about 2 weeks after release - it seems to have started earlier this time around. I'm also looking forward to playing the game. It's not my sort of thing really but it looks like loads of fun. | mark4231
10/5/2018 15:00 | Yep quietly excited here too;-) | allstar4eva
10/5/2018 14:53 | I can hardly contain my excitement at seeing JWE on page 1 of the global bestseller list and at number 7 in the UK list. Maybe I just have to many of these but a few of you must feel similarly excited. Conan just did sales of over 1 million in its first days of release (its been in beta for a while but isn't a mega release). Im thinking we may do something similar week 1. I bought a few more just now. In some ways having seen the response on you tube and the pre sales across some of the steam and amazon sites this is a less risky proposition than it was in the 11's a couple of months ago, imo only. | nimbo1 |
