I wish these folks could write understandable English. Not the first time, imo, that there is lack of clarity.

"Franchise four, which is based on our own un-announced IP, is now in full development and targeted for release in FY20, and two more new franchises are in earlier stages of development."

"FY20" is 2 years away. So what's the expected announcement for next year ("FY19"), if anything?

They've changed the narrative over the next franchise.
Originally to be revealed at E3, based on some well-known brand/universe.
Now its their own IP that will be 4th franchise. Suggests some changes/delays internally and increases uncertainty.

Results look to be as expected. Board "Comfortable" with 2019 Rev F'casts of £75m - £88m (£2018 £34.2m). Next release using own IP in FY 20. (after May 2019). 2 more games in early development. Record trading since period end. Happy to hold & ignore short term markets.

Today's EBITDA is 9% above Liberum's forecasts.

They maintain their 1800p price target.

Good to see the excitement for the future and the solid performance of both ED and PC.

Happy to hold for what are likely to be stellar results this year.

A positive outlook with revenue doubling from 2018.
"The Board is comfortable with the current range of analyst revenue projections of GBP75 million to GBP88 million for FY19 (the year ending 31 May 2019), a substantial increase over the GBP34 million achieved in FY18."

Consensus forecast on earnings was 5.8p, so ahead at 9.1p (diluted eps).Other than that it's as expected and it's all about delivering on next year. At mid target revenue that should be at least 46p eps, so a target of about £16 shouldn't be too demanding IMO.DD

...Hmm.Surprisingly quiet reaction here, either everyone has assumed the same nonchalance with this report being in line, or people are worried.I'm in the latter camp, though I hold at £10. Let's hope the market takes the in line news positively.

Results exactly as expected really. Next release in fy 20. Could mean any time from end May 2019 onwards. Says further 2 games in early planning / development following that. Reiterates record period of trading for current half year period.

I think you are right, but I'm not sure why that would be the case. We all know that it wont include JWE figures and they have continuosly stated that they are ahead.My only concern is that they announce some kind of delay to the next release as they already seem to have pushed back the announcement from this summer to early next year.

We pretty much know the figures that will be announced tomorrow I think, as per post 3387. I'm satisfied that any surprises in tomorrow's announcement will be good ones. How the market reacts to the announcement I haven't a clue - it doesn't seem to have acted rationally here recently!

Ridiculous dive today. Investors fearing bad news (are news out tomorrow?), if they don't trust FDEV, why to buy in the first place?

The figures tomorrow are set in stone and the world markets will not affect them. If you mean market conditions might affect sentiment surrounding the figures and therefore the share price that is another matter. markets are slightly off all time highs, are things really that bad out there?

Tomorrows FDEV figures will be affected by the uncertainty of huge negative issues in world markets unfortunately -
I do hope that they say a lot of positive stuff...

Yeah, I'd much rather see them stick to their strengths and create something connected to a 'movie universe' than anything too character led.
