06/11/2018 18:21 | US treasury yield smashes through 3.22% and yet the DOW is up at 25,600. Someone is pumping up the market my guess is that there are lots of gamblers betting on a Republican victory. Who knows? Whatever the result it does not matter because this sucker ain't gonna hold up with treasury yields 3.2%+. The DOW is firmly in massively overvalued territory (PE, PEG, Shiller PE) and nearly all the corporations that make up the market depend upon cheap money for consumers to buy their products, to service their debt and to pump up their stock value (buybacks) and that cheap money is going away. Crashy crashy!! | cdub1
06/11/2018 18:18 | Ham.. these are the permutations: Blue wave = bearish Red wave = short term bullish, long term bearish No change = short term bullish | hussyo
06/11/2018 18:04 | A record turn out for the US mid terms could swing at least the house to the Democrats? What about the senate? How would the markets react to either one going Democrat or a lomg sbot of both? Certainly if Trump retains both then marlets gonna fly. | hamhamham1
06/11/2018 10:55 | If these were 1600p odd as they were before the last US election I would be less relaxed but they are nearly half that level (edit - and the world's a different place), so happy to have them. I am genuinely interested to see what happens over the next month or two. | hamhamham1
06/11/2018 09:48 | Great results from Randgold at an average strike price of only 1209 an oz. | hussyo
06/11/2018 09:45 | If only FRES produced gold (see Rangold share price) - oh hang on, i think they do! ;) | hamhamham1
06/11/2018 09:41 | But I'm a vegan, didn't I tell you that? :) | hamhamham1
06/11/2018 09:33 | hahaha, you'll be a buyer............... | eriktherock
06/11/2018 09:31 | I'll get him a nice bit of Serrano for a 7.5% rise.. and something from Aldi for 5%! | hussyo
06/11/2018 09:24 | You should buy him a nice ham | eriktherock
06/11/2018 09:19 | If we have a 5% rise today, I'll send ham a Christmas gift through the post | hussyo
06/11/2018 09:15 | I was suggesting that your call was ahead of it's time by a day or so. | eriktherock
06/11/2018 09:09 | Yes Erik I can be a plum :) I do wonder if Trump will do the unexpected again? I just feel that these surprises must run out of legs sometime? | hamhamham1
06/11/2018 08:44 | "I'm going out on a limb and saying a 5 to 10% gain here today by close of play." Wrong day but good call. | eriktherock
06/11/2018 07:27 | From a Fres technical set-up; I have known what to do but currently I'll have to fall back on my trading experience and do nothing. Maybe I was correct with the lower target when 865 broke down last week but probably not. 1050 a more probable target. | eriktherock
06/11/2018 07:18 | Recent JIm Rogers interview worth a listen > | eriktherock
06/11/2018 07:16 | We are seeing a Dollar bubble which naturally has it's impact on all valued in USD. However, in September we saw the bottom for silver around 13.9 so maybe we'll see some detachment for pm's from the daily Forex movement of USD pairs. | eriktherock
06/11/2018 07:00 | Henryxx. In fact, after pasting your post into MS Excel, I found you post was no less than 550 lines long - now that is really cheap, trying to push all other comments off the board!!! | hamhamham1
06/11/2018 06:55 | Henryxx. Each to their own thoughts. But having seen your tactic here of re-posting the same long post 4 times in a row and not only that with the cynical use of large spacing between parts of your posting shows you for the agenda you have - why do it? Watch I can do it as well... it's easy to do - but looks pathetic! | hamhamham1
