17/3/2009 17:42 | nils. i phoned them the other day and asked if they were going to bring this down to brighton, as i thought brighton with city status and wealthy would be a very good idea and place to run it, i was told no money to do that, and this time and market conditions all was on hold, cos theres no money to do it, i then hung up. | plast
17/3/2009 17:03 | Hi Troys I am in sunny Wales. | spights
17/3/2009 13:46 | the return of the loan back to shareholders is supporting the entire valuation of this company, therefore after repayment the shares will be worth zero? work that one out if you can? There has to be some value of the fixed spectrum licence and the base station equpment etc. etc. Troys, yes it's a waiting game, is it worth keeping the money in after repayment of the loan note to s/h's? Then it becomes just another penny share with a plan and maybe 1:100 chance of it succeeding. The spreads and volatility will increase. even if they get the agreement to vary the licence to include mobile, it will still take a lot of money and a lot of raising of cash...so probably better to just sell out now!? | nils214
17/3/2009 08:02 | Its a waiting game. | troys
17/3/2009 07:48 | Prem results out. Key points: rollout on hold pending license amendment and no news on that. Only 15 of 42 base stations live in three trial markets. Loan notes due to be paid back in October (plus a bit of interest). As ever, the future of this company depends on getting that license amendment... | veryoldbob

27/2/2009 07:18 | Thankyou again VOB | troys
25/2/2009 21:35 | No news to update with I'm afraid. FFG said in the last Report that they were going to scale things down pending a change to the spectrum license to allow mobile and nomadic use. That request only officially went to OFCOM last Feb (which was pretty late considering UK Broadband asked for the same thing a year earlier...). IMO the license change decision is being delayed by OFCOM until after the 2.6GHz spectrum auction which itself is delayed with no date fixed yet (legal action and wrangling over the current spectrum still isn't sorted out). The full year report should give some info in a month or two, but otherwise expect no news until October (when the loan notes are due) or when the OFCOM decision is announced, whichever happens first. | veryoldbob
24/2/2009 22:12 | Thankyou Ps0 and VOB. The CO has been very quiet on the news front. An update would be nice, rather than all those price monitoring extensions. :-) | troys |
