04/6/2009 15:37 | Not even bothered to check how much i'm down, i only had a small amount. Sold half before it collapsed anyway, so it's only small money if it's 100% down :) Still nice to see something possibly good happening with it though, I'd be a lot happier getting my money back :) | psonice

03/6/2009 15:05 | Here you go: "In light of the recent publication on 13 May 2009 of the report of the Government's Independent Spectrum Broker, Ofcom and O2 have agreed to a short adjournment of the High Court hearing of O2's claim for judicial review in relation to the 2.6GHz award. The case has been adjourned until after the publication of the Government's final Digital Britain report, which is due to published mid- June 2009." Makes sense - the court case can be used as a bargaining chip in the negotiations. Small delay though, but what's a few more weeks? PS: looks like Gartmore have been buying up the GS disposals... | veryoldbob
03/6/2009 11:34 | still no news re the hearing? | nils214
03/6/2009 00:58 | The seller may be Goldman Sachs. According to the recent RNS they held 99M shares on the 14th May (9.6%) and reduced to 81M shares (7.9%) on the 29th. They may be getting out of F4G alltogether. Question is: with money being returned in October, why bail out now? Do they know something in advance of the AGM that we don't? | veryoldbob
02/6/2009 11:53 | Big volume! | troys
02/6/2009 10:52 | looks like the long time seller may be out of way at last 55mil at 2.2p hopefuly might go better now. | victor2
19/5/2009 19:41 | No reports from the High Court yet but the original statement from OFCOM is here: From the update: "A hearing has therefore been listed in this regard to commence on 19 May 2009. It is anticipated that this hearing will last for four days. A High Court judgement in Ofcom's favour would open the way for us to invite applications in the summer and to begin the auction in September." Maybe they'll be news from the High Court as the case progresses, if not I'm sure the judgement on Friday (if the case goes on as long as OFCOM predicts) will be publicised. | veryoldbob
19/5/2009 17:46 | anybody have any news links to the court case? | nils214 |
