Oooh, stock down to near six month lows ahead of Thursday's trading statement. Time to go shopping in the morning to add a few more to the pile.

Looks like those bandits MM's are trying to get some sellers on board ahead of next week. Early Friday tree shake care of the order book and no doubt we'll see itagain at some point today. And for the record spread betting companies are not taking on new Long positions in Foxtons from customers this morning. Hmmmmmm 🤫

Ramping ?? Moi ???? Why of course, but you already know that reading my posts since January last year when Foxtons was just 30p no less!!

Get that £500 ready for charity 💵💵

He's just ramping. His alter ego on the LSE site is even trying to convince us that there is a bunch of Middle Eastern buyers looking to buy in London. What a load of tosh. People are trying to leave the UK not move here.

Ivan - Are you back to your ramping again, or do you have some /any evidence to back up your post ??

For others here, Market Screener has a good summary of the major declared shareholders here: hxxps://uk.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/FOXTONS-GROUP-PLC-14342802/company-shareholders/
(If you have evidence to the contrary Ivan, please post here and also let the LSE know)

In addition, the fact that members of the Foxtons board are buying shares (the last declared being a 19,898 share purchase on 30/9) strongly indicates that no bid discussions were going on at that time.
(again, if you have evidence to the contrary Ivan, please post here and also let the LSE know)

Aside from those points, I'm not sure why any prospective bidder would show their hand before the Budget at the end of the month.

I wish you were correct Ivan and that a knockout bid for Foxt is imminent, but you do realise that without any shred of evidence to back up your multiple assertions, your credibility is just about zero.

Lower interest rates on the way, says Andrew Bailey. Should help.

Plus a report in the FT today saying that, acording to Zoopla, UK house sales rose in September at the fastest rate since the post-lockdown rebound, as a result of lower mortgage rates. The number of sales agreed in September was up 25%.

Small buy from the chairman RNS'd after hours. Only £3600, but he must know that nobody (other than Ivan and his alter ego 5eights on the LSE site) has yet caught on that BC Partners has amassed a big stake on the quiet and is about to launch a takeover bid... dream on.

Didn't know there was a presentation, I know Foxtons met with reps from Barratts Homes, maybe that could be it perhaps ??.

High praise indeed, thank you Gargoyle. Let's have a wager, I say BC Partners will be instrumental in a bid for Foxtons. You disagree. The loser donates £500 to any charity of their choosing on the JustGiving website so everyone can see that the 'loser' has honoured their bet ?? Agree.

Perhaps Skipton Building Society could buy Foxtons, they seem to like Estate Agencies more than they like mortgage lending.

Ivan, I see you're still banging the BC Partners drum under your other handle on the LSE board. Given that both you and the 'LSE poster' only ever post about FOXT, and only ever positively, it's pretty obvious that you're the same person. A Foxtons employee even, maybe.

Ah ok, it must be fake news then best also to email Sharecast as well as their website also shows BC Partners as holding just over 62 million shares of Foxtons. All this 'fake' news eh, where do they find these people ??hxxps://sharecast.com/equity/Foxtons_Group/director-deals

Ivan, I took up your suggestion and emailed the company. Here's today's response from Investor Relations re BC Partners: "I’m unable to open the link so can’t comment on it directly. However, I can say we have not received nor circulated any filings indicating that BC Partners has bought or holds 20% of Foxtons Group plc shares. For context, BC Partners owned Foxtons between 2007 – 2013, and held a portion of shares post IPO in September 2013. Those were sold down over the next 12-18 months. It may be the case that the users on the bulletin boards are referencing this post-IPO holdings that was subsequently sold down."

That should put an end to any more discussion about BC, imo. Fake news.

And yet another buyer in the market for Foxtons shares today and with the Rightmove news looks like things are about to get very interesting indeed ! 🤑

If it's 'fake' information to which you refer then just email Foxtons management or get that website to remove it as it's still there. In both instances I guarantee your success rate will be zero !!

Give it a break, Ivan. You just have to look at th trades, the order book and the diraction of the share price to know that there's a seller about. And stop banging on abot BC Partners -- that's fake news, as you know.

Oooh, 30,000 shares split four ways in the order book first thing to give the impression of a 'seller'just back from their holidays. It's going to be a fun week and I will gladly help myself to a few more along the way just like our friends at Martin Currie and BC Partners 😘
