02/2/2023 18:20 | Yep very good point, in addition the government wants to speed up all the remedial works to those tower blocks that have been in a state of limbo since the horrific events at Grenfell and where residents can't sell their flats. There are some 9000 tower blocks up and down the country where residents have been affected and can now sell their flats subject to the builders/developers agreeing to the government's latest ruling. Expect further good news in the budget as well for first time buyers. All in all its a perfect scenario for Foxtons, no wonder the CEO went out and ordered some 350 new Mini Coopers for his staff !!! | ivanborsky

27/1/2023 09:32 | So lets get this right, as at 9.15am today there has been more trade in Foxtons than there was at this time yesterday. Makes perfect sense right ?? Looks like the Hunt has managed to coax a few of their clients into selling, brilliant they must be so proud biting or should I say chewing off the hands that feeds them !! | ivanborsky
27/1/2023 08:25 | Reading between the lines, it sure looks to me that there is a buyer out there looking to pick up some cheap stock. I added a few this morning courtesy of the Hunt. Cheers chaps, keep up the good work !! | ivanborsky
27/1/2023 08:18 | Well this idiot cut his recommendation to hold and target price 40p today. Sometimes it’s best if the company has no coverage | buffettjnr
27/1/2023 07:29 | Peel Hunt: Foxtons investment will strengthen its positionEstate agent Foxtons (FOXT) isn't immune from the economic downturn, but investment will likely put it on a surer footing, says Peel Hunt.Analyst Sam Cullen retained his 'buy' recommendation and target price of 55p on the stock, which slipped 1.1% to 37.6p after a full-year trading statement yesterday. After a difficult 2022 the shares have soared over 29% in the past month.Annual revenues for 2022 came in 5% ahead of Cullen's expectations but there are still challenges ahead for 2023.'While lettings will remain strong, the turmoil in the mortgage market means sales revenues will be lower... and profit in full-year 2023, meaning consensus profits forecast will likely fall,' he said. However, he said longer-term, the 'investment in the business will likely increase, creating a sounder footing from which to operate'.This increased investment will be pinpointed by new boss Guy Gittins through an operational review that is 'focused on driving growth and rebuilding 'the Foxtons' DNA''. | tole
26/1/2023 09:01 | Pump and dump type co, it will ride a wave up to about 60p then you will see some big selling. I hold, that's my view at least | ayl30
26/1/2023 08:38 | Making profits, solid revenue numbers and the property rental market going through the roof and the stock is marked down ???? Means only one thing, Soros wants to pick up a few more and no doubt the hedge funds as well. Foxtons were previously bought out by a hedge fund if I remember rightly some years back for pittance. De ja vu ?? | ivanborsky
26/1/2023 08:09 | Revenues higher than the market cap. Rents are solid not sure why we get this initial pullback should be going back up into the 40s and 50s | onedb1
