Rishi will announce it this week, I think the first 500K will be stamp duty free for everyone but he could go further than that

Although now a holder, still uncertain how Foxtons are going to emerge from lockdown Now on the backfoot having raised extra monies

The Directors have a serious problem of not taking 1 for the team Serious problem in accepting the fact that monies were raised to support Nic Buddens £1.3m total remuneration

Not many anywhere unfortunately it's a problem that is out of any estate agents control.Read an article the other day, some big housebuilder is exiting building flats in london in favour of the 3+ bed houses...In summary their words were that the city life is finished.

However since they are not squeezed in under 37p, going to have to learn to love them!

With supposedly 70 offices, not long before Dexters starts going bankrupt, all fanfare and hot air I would say

Just looked at the Dexters website, it is so tacky, looks like it was done by a sixth former in Croydon

www.dexters.co.uk/why-dexters

Cheap and nasty to say the least, pretty awful in fact!

Canary Wharf for example has 152 instructions for sale ,a meaty inventory which requires a lot of servicing

Over 25% of the instructions have been on the books for 12 months or longer. That's
a lot of dead weight taking up plenty of staff time earning SFA .These are costing money.

Thanks Knowing, as some of us have been saying, Hong Kong is moving to London.

And now it is official, up to 3 million Hongkongers will be eligible to come to settle in Britain, and their money will go into London property as a base scenario.

Most agents are awful, it is part of their DNA, some have super low IQ too

Some Foxtons staff are great, and they seem to almost always get better prices for their clients, they are certainly never ever lazy

Honestly, the worse I've dealt with from a rental perspective...

I'd say they are a good indicator / were a good indicator, of appreciating values in an area if they set up shop, but never deal with them as they'll rip you a new one, and you'll be stung for years

openrent is the way for that side of the market, or other local agents as they're definitely cheaper and they'll all use rightmove anyway.
