ltcm - Savills forecast 17 pct rise on 'average' London property over the next 5 years. Average properties are led by the high end stuff. I will have you are a large bet that London houses will NOT crash. ! If they come down at all they will be pounced on pretty quickly too.

Why do you say that TF???

Banks will have to lay off thousands, no more oil rich buying in London either, high end prices set to CRASH.

This is definitely a buy again I would say thinking logically, but I'll be waiting for the 40s, if they come

Yes glad I didn’t get sucked in after that first bounce off 65p recently. Now below that level, certainly back to sitting on the fence for now. More keen on WEY & PPS, buying dips on those for long term holds. Dyor as usual.

Will check the s/r levels here shortly

This will now drift since no stamp duty reform, missed opportunity, and this virus is going to slow everything down, so nothing to see here for 6 months

The short I've been sat on for months briefly entered profit territory today. The results and outlook the other day were pretty awful. Most other estate agents (including other London based ones) are making money, I don't know why Foxtons find it so difficult

Crazy though as whilst transactions have been very low throughout past 2/3 years , the other main income source is rental and that seems steady . With interest rate cuts in the US I wonder if the UK will follow and indeed will stamp duty be reduced ? I am on the sidelines . But feel that price is getting quite low .

Keeping a close eye on this - sold out a couple of weeks ago.
Doubtless the budget next week will be supportive but in this environment it may count for little.

Down again, global market rout still influencing here, definitely add at support2 but maybe asking too much, sit on the fence today as an observer

Nice pull back, will wait to see how end of week plays out, was tempted around 75p but as support 1 has gone for now, best wait and see. These markets are quite feisty.

I think it's the no deal fears coming back, although I think London will benefit as a safe haven investment, while Europe sinks

Was going well until Corona Virus, which May have short to medium term affects.

Will watch to see if I can add cheaper over the coming weeks.

I think Egerton Crescent is all white stucco, no brick faced buildings .. and that is more South Ken / Chelsea border
