You are a braver person than me buying into a London sales recovery with gross uncertainty around Brexit and its implications for sterling and property values.Additionally the company have admitted that the, yet to be legislated, tenant fee ban will have a very significant negative impact on revenues. Further to fall in my opinion.

it was on bbc news a few days ago stating how the north was closing the gap and figures said that though London was slower than other areas, it still has a forecast post brexit of that growth next year.

40p much more likely than 60p-perhaps less once people factor in the negative impact that a tenant fee ban will have on notoriously high charging businesses like Foxtons. Certain to be between £5 and £10m, straight off the already much depleted bottom line.

ULS Market data indicates that the UK housing market has slowed further in the autumn with UK Finance reporting a 10.1% drop in high street bank mortgage approvals for house purchases in September, compared to the prior year. While there are likely to be a number of factors causing this, it is likely that uncertainty over Brexit is a major factor. This slowdown may well be short lived but it is likely to have some impact on the Group's second half results.
