18/10/2017 23:56 | exbroker, Thanks, that's hwat I thought, low margin raw marble blocks. A sale is a sale but processed is where the bigger margin is. | andy
18/10/2017 20:17 | Surely they can use the winter to cut slabs in the factory? | czar
18/10/2017 19:36 | Let's see what transpires..we had a similar situation with eboricum.orders and deposit if my memory is correct. our long awIted processing plant will not be utilized for this order and we will make less profit on these orders. I have gone grey and developed a bald patch awaiting the factory. Perhaps exbroker knows if the processing plant is being fully or partially utilized ?or are the staff looking out the windows awaiting the snow of winter. | haroldthegreat
18/10/2017 19:17 | The fact that an Indian company is prepared to pay in advance for this marble means it must be very good. Lot more to come methinks. | czar
18/10/2017 18:18 | India = Import duties = blocks not slabs | exbroker
18/10/2017 14:58 | HArold, No mention of whether this is raw blocks or processed marble from what I can see, do you know which it is? | andy
18/10/2017 12:59 | Well the last RNs got the price up and very few adverse comments. perhaps the tide has changed ? | haroldthegreat
13/10/2017 12:54 | Harold, have you thought of investing in Swedish beer? A thousand 330 ml cans will cost you 10,000 SEK. You can drink the lot, have a great time and then you can get 10% of your capital back by returning the empties. (This was the financial advice given just after the dotcom crash to a journalist by a homeless alcoholic, who pointed out that his remaining capital would have been less if he had invested the original sum in Ericsson shares instead of booze.) | caradog
10/10/2017 10:00 | Wols thank you for the idea. The problem is that its not original . where have I seen something similar ? Please come up with something more innovative. I will be exhibiting at a trade show so that will be worth a RNs, then a RNs on the vast number of buyers interested in the product. Sorry that's been done before as well. Going back to fox I notice another 5% drop today. | haroldthegreat
02/10/2017 13:27 | Harold I like the idea of your pills. I'll purchase 2 million worth in various tranches over the next 18 months. And I'll set up a company in Gibraltar to do the same. That should be enough for you to say you have a massive order book of 4 million off which to do a placing and raise funds. We are all going to be rich!! | wolstencroft
01/10/2017 16:42 | thank you caradog for the information . when it is introduced I will look out for cans to take to the large stores and supplement my income diminished by my fox shares. Andy this is the answer to all fox holders problems. if you pick up 3 recyclables at 5p it will make up the loss on each fox share held. Probably be better than waiting for a dividend. This is the Eureka moment, get rid of all rubbish aim shares in the portfolio and go on the prowl for recyclables with a deposit on them. When I was a kid one got money back on Corona bottles. Just remembered . Cannot remember the amount of the deposit though ? Any other senile fox shareholders know the answer ? have googled it and found Ajred on 2014-06-17 12:48:52 When we were kids in the sixties there was a large building site near us where we would play. The builders would just throw away their empty Corona bottles and we would spend hours searching for them so we could take them to the Corona lorry for a 3d refund. I think a bottle of Corona cost about 1/6d so 6 empties would result in a bottle. My mum would rarely buy Corona as it did not last long enough! BUT IS THIS CORRECT ? and more searching gives the sum today after inflation so 3d is just over 1p in todays money with inflation becomes Price then, price now Amount: (price then) £ s d 3d Year:1956 Calculate Result Result: £ 0.30 so my assumption becomes 1 bottle collected gives the same increase in wealth as buying a fox share at 20p and waiting 100years for it to reach 50p. However one must give a wealth warning with this scheme as if you drop the bottle you will not make any income from it ,but you will be better off than buying the fox share and seeing a 13p loss on it now. flaw in my argument is you will not be alive to see the return in 100 years time. Unless you wish to purchase Haroldthegreat long life pills at 100£ per month. Soon to be Aim listed . Remember aim shares held for 2 years are IHT free. | haroldthegreat
01/10/2017 15:37 | Harold, the system has worked fine for years in Scandinavia. Bottles and cans are returned to large retailers who have machines that can read the bar code and crush the returns before issuing a receipt that can be used in store or, if you prefer, credit a charity. The plastic, glass and metal are then recycled in bulk. The retailers have already pocketed the original deposit, of course. Small shops have to accept returns manually, but most people return their containers by feeding them into the machines just before they do their weekly shop. Any bottles and cans chucked into bins or at the roadside are often picked up and recycled by people who then get to keep the deposit return. You can return your can/bottle to any outlet, but the bar code stops you getting money for cans that were bought in a country where there is no deposit scheme. Wins all round really. Cleaner environment, small retailers get a little premium, large retailers attract customers who want to get their deposit back, and the odd alcoholic can get the cash to buy his next drink by picking up litter. | caradog
01/10/2017 12:05 | The plastic, I hope, will be molecularised in a PHE machine. Check it out ! | discusser
01/10/2017 08:15 | Andy I have to come clean and admit I never buy bottled water.I only drink, cook and shower in eau De Thames. I can afford lidl water , just, but consider that bottled water is a waste of money and think that plastic in the bottle will cause more problems than the odd bacteria in the water.. I could claim ,but it would be a lie, that I was environmentally concerned at the carbon footprint of the bottled water from source to table via my car as well. That would be a trendy term to use and so justify my actions and impecuniousness . I am basically a troglodyte. ( 2 new words for readers to look up) As for the latest idea of charging a deposit on plastic bottles where are the retailers going to store the returns .will one have to return them to the store purchased ? Will one have to produce the original receipt. Will tesco like to accept returns from all the smaller shops in the and give a deposit refund ? What a daft idea ! As a retailer will I be able to accept returns from my customers and take them all to tesco when I do my shopping and get a refund from them without proof of purchase. | haroldthegreat
30/9/2017 17:45 | Harold, You can afford Lidl water? Luxury! | andy
30/9/2017 17:11 | Exbroker - I still hold, good opportunity here - though I am in lower than many. Think they will need to raise cash though - but it isnt the end of the world... | rjmahan
28/9/2017 12:32 | As a holder I hope your optimism is justified.I would love to get my investment returned not stupid enough to hope for a profit. I will await the water to wine, meaning I will be able to afford wine rather than lidl water. | haroldthegreat
28/9/2017 11:54 | I can find plenty of negatives but seem to be the only one on here who can see any positives. My post above is factual, I don’t mind what conclusions people reach as long as they are doing it with all the correct information. | exbroker
28/9/2017 11:43 | Exbroker, I love the way you can only see good in this company, it is absolutely perfect in every way. I can nearly always find negatives in companies I have investments in. | andy
28/9/2017 11:36 | Ex: I may stand corrected on the loan. | wolstencroft
28/9/2017 11:20 | To correct a few points. The £440k loan was announced in June. The non-executive directors are taking their fees in shares and have been for over a year, Chris and Etrur take half in cash the rest in shares. Work out how much stone they must sell in the last 3 months, and apply that number to next year, see what that will do to the numbers. Demand now outstrips supply that’s the bit I like, its about getting it out of the ground not selling it at last. | exbroker
28/9/2017 10:41 | I can't wait for Tom' coments! "stonking buy", "the bottom is in", "multibagger it the making" Are my three guesses, anyone else care to try | andy
28/9/2017 10:23 | From today's share chart it looks like the followers are losing faith ! Perhaps a known disciple ex broker can persuade us to rejoin the faith / flock The Feeding of the 5,000 is also known as the "miracle of the five loaves and two fish", I have got more accurate figures from the original presentation and it should read "As above" a revised RNs will be issued shortly. Apologies for my previous error. | haroldthegreat
28/9/2017 10:15 | From today's share chart it looks like the followers are losing faith ! Perhaps a known disciple ex broker can persuade us to rejoin the faith / flock ? | haroldthegreat
28/9/2017 10:11 | As tom is charging for access perhaps the number of people reading will have been dramatically reduced. His failure to be objective with fox has been a mistake IMO but perhaps we will be proved wrong .after all the promised factory completion has occurred at long last. Turnover should increase and may be the promised high profit margin will materialize. Perhaps water will be turned into wine and 20000 fed on 5 fishes and 2 loaves.(that was an estimate I wasn't around to witness that original presentation, unfortunately I was around for fox's original presentation and believed the fox Messiah and his disciples) | haroldthegreat |
