30/6/2017 07:43 | "This new convertible gives us flexibility during this turnaround year as we generate more revenue from the sales of our marble worldwide." Wasn't it turnaround year last year? And the year before that? | phowdo
30/6/2017 07:41 | Pleased to given an update but so sales figure for the first half? The factory not finished...But Chris says it is finished which means that they can sell their own slabs and as a result of this ... the order book is now smaller than before??? Sorry guys but everyone invested in Fox has had plenty of warning. | wolstencroft
30/6/2017 07:32 | more trouble at mill. cant use the name sivec, large customer goes bust, good luck all | glennborthwick
25/6/2017 10:49 | Andy it is said you never bite the hand that feeds you. Here one could say you never criticize the company you have invested considerable funds in. obviously you follow Tom more than I do has he declared his total share holdings before? | haroldthegreat
25/6/2017 10:30 | harold, I agree with that, but he has announced that he has participated in FOX' placings previously, so I expected he still held. He has never addressed the order book issue, re lack of completed previously announced orders from Banyan and Eboracum, plus the Chinese previously, which is surprising when he is all over other companies for the same issue. | andy
25/6/2017 08:12 | It has always surprised me that TW never has a go at fox and its failure to perform. he has been quiet over eboricum and the the other orders that fail to turn into cash in the bank.he is always supportive and uncharacteristically optimistic. Today he published a list of his family's 18 holdings and fox is there.I applaud his honesty in publishing the list and think it should be a requirement for all financial journalists to do so. It provides an explanation of why he has behaved so positively towards fox where others have not. I invested in fox when it was launched (which i still retain )and criticise their optimistic RNs but if I had a very large holding would put a positive optimistic spin on the board to try and increase the price. | haroldthegreat
08/6/2017 17:19 | Harold, As usual Tom is gushing about Fox, and he doesn't question the validity of the 'order book'! Anyone spot the deliberate mistake though? :-) Oooops. | andy
07/6/2017 19:37 | I will cancel my visit to the priory but your reply has not made me any the wiser .you have not explained the fundamentals of fox maths.I really think you do not understand them either. So my conclusion is its as clear as MUD. You did not put that option in the exam !!!!!!!! | haroldthegreat
07/6/2017 18:05 | Wols, I doubt whether the company nor exbroker will be answering any of those questions somehow! Even Tom's quiet, or maybe he's choosing the superlatives to describe these glowing results? Jam tomorrow, or as they say in Pristina.....bllokim nesër | andy
07/6/2017 17:03 | exbroker what happens to an order that doesn't become a sale because a) the company placing the order is now a dormant company and the CEO of that dormant company sets up another business doing something else? b) the company placing a multimillion EUR order only has about 3700 Euros in the bank, no employees, no physical presence, no website, and a nominee director. c) the company placing the order quietly disappears from all Fox's RNSs and media releases? Does 1. The NOMAD warn them that they must inform the market and issue an RNS 2. The CFO get fired because that's not how business works 3. The non-execs say that this must be investigated 3. The company release an RNS off their own bat saying that millions in orders have not materialised as sales 4. Fox say that the order book is stronger than ever and nearly everything has been pushed into the next quarter / year? and/or 5. Tom writes an article saying the worst is over / things looking up / this really is the nadir | wolstencroft
07/6/2017 15:13 | How it works at Fox A sale is a sale... easy An order becomes a sale when the customer chooses the blocks from the quarry they want as part of that order. Buyers are at the quarries at least twice a month. An off-take agreement such as the one with Marble Dino is for slab and tiles as and when the factory could produce the finished product, I believe that the first batch that is cut, resined and polished all in the factory should be ready by the end of July. The important detail is that the Mahadev Marmo is a purchase and sale agreement for 10000T in 12 months. This is being quarried at Maleshevë and there are other buyers of any excess that is produced, hence the mains power being put in and the 2 shifts. One more contract of this size and it transforms the numbers. Its taken longer than I thought but they are getting there. | exbroker

07/6/2017 11:18 | Is there an adult eduction institution the gives a good course in fox maths ? I have a degree but perhaps a PhD in fox maths would be a good idea then I can call myself Dr Harold the great ! Unfortunately not able to attend agm but perhaps someone could ask for a quick guide to the fox maths explanation. | haroldthegreat
07/6/2017 11:15 | I am a little thick with maths so perhaps someone can help me out.looking at turnover and comments I cannot do the addition. No doubt exbroker can point me in the right direction . Over the 2016 financial year we COMPLETED orders to both existing and new customers including Pisani, Eboracum and Antolini Luigi & C. Spa and further notably significant orders during the course of the year from leading property developments such as St George's Homes plc, and Capital and Counties plc's Lillie Square development, the largest residential development in Europe.) I was under the impression eboricum has placed very large orders "of the €2000000 order placed through Fox Marble's new long-term distribution agreement entered ... received confirmation from Eboracum's accountants of receipt of an advance payment of £300000 ..." As the orders have been completed shouldnt the turnover be higher ? I am too old to go back to primary school to relearn fox addition so perhaps a fox maths expert can explain ! | haroldthegreat
07/6/2017 10:48 | Exbroker, The main point is cash is looking scarce, and burning down quite quickly too. Another placing looks on the cards to me. | andy
07/6/2017 10:34 | Running out of cash | hamidahamida
