EC I respect your views and assume you have shorted Fox, I have built up a large position. We will see who is smarter over the next year or so. NB if you short at 10p you can only make 10p if you buy at 10p you can make £'s. Good luck.

I post here because I am interested in the company. I would have thought that was perfectly clear.

When you look back at companies that have delivered 0.1x loss for investors it was usually absolutely clear when you invested that they were going to deliver those spectacular losses. Fox looks like it has passed the inflexion point to me and will continue to fall from here. It is classed as a probable basket case. If you wait until Fox has sales of 0's of millions and losses of millions the price will not be 10p it will be 1p. You need your head examined if you buy these now imho.

Fox looks like it has passed the inflexion point to me and will continue to grow from here. It is classed as a speculative buy. If you wait until Fox has sales of 10's of millions and profits of millions the price will not be 10p it will be 100p. The opportunity is now imho.

Andy

I agree but after watching Fox for a year, and meeting the director, I think they are finally stumbling to survival and more.

nashwan,

A "speculative buy" from Beaufort is hardly a resounding vote of confidence!

Effortless,

Exactly!

The Indians are beneficiating their own stone, giving them the extra profit that FOX would have earned.

TW says it's a buy but no mention of margins from him either.

The Indian order is for raw marble, not processed, which generate much smaller margins, according to CG.

Winnifroth reckons its a BUY

There were many who worried and sold. Oh ye of little faith, at long last Fox Marble (FOX) is starting to deliver real sales. We had news last week of a $300,000 order in the UK and Australia now there is a really big deal that has been announced.
Fox has entered into a US$1.8 million per annum sale and purchase agreement with Mahadev Marmo PVT Ltd, India’s second largest green marble export house, following the satisfactory delivery and completion of a block marble sample order, which was shipped in December 2016.
House broker Brandon Hill states: This is the best news that Fox Marble have (sic) released for a long time.
We should cocoa. This three year deal lifts guaranteed sales in the current year to an an estimated €4.1 million which means that, as we are just five weeks into the year, there is massive visibility and broker forecasts of $5.8 million are going to be blown away. Expect a series of upgrades - yes upgrades - throughout 2017. Fox is on a roll.
This order follows an inspection of the quarry, when Mahadev paid for 3 blocks of Fox Marble’s Illirico Selene (silver grey) block marble. This order was shipped in December 2016 from Fox’s newest quarry, Malesheva, in Kosovo and arrived in India early this year. The blocks were processed in the Mahadev facility in Udaipur.
Fox is highly operationally geared and with its capex largely done it should now be a real cash cow. At 9.25p the market cap is just £16 million which - we suspect will be well under three times sales in 2017, a year when Fox moves into material profitability. Buy.

glenn,

Interesting, Murrall has resigned 4 times from Ordicium!

And now Scott Oldfield appears to be the only director.

Eboracum have indeed filed, wolstencroft. That filing shows them still to be a dormant company with just £1 of capital. It remains hard to square this situation with Fox's announcement of 7 March 2016:

"Fox Marble, the AIM listed company focused on marble quarrying and finishing in Kosovo and the Balkans region, is pleased to confirm that of the €2,000,000 order placed through Fox Marble's new long-term distribution agreement entered into with Eboracum Limited ("Eboracum"), as reported in the Company's announcement dated 21 January 2016, the Company has received confirmation from Eboracum's accountants of receipt of an advance payment of £300,000 (€390,000) into their client account, which will shortly be transferred to the Company. This advance reflects the material on hand that is ready for shipment, for which delivery is now expected to commence. The balance is payable prior to further shipments".

Or this one from 19 August 2016:

"Delivery has commenced under the long-term distribution agreement entered into with Eboracum Marble Limited, a company based in the north of England, through which a €2 million order for a range of marble slabs has been received. An advance payment on this purchase order of €390,000 was received in March 2016".

So actually they would lose nothing as it would mean they were not selling it.perhaps a deal should have been done where the price reduced as they passed certain milestones. Anyone can say I will take 2 million euros worth and then not perform. I hope we eventually see these sales as I would like to recover my losses.
What has happened with the grand new plan of new quarries where we have a stake.perhaps they will be our salvation

I'm bone fide! Andy is too. There's no evidence any of us have done anything other than due diligence. I appreciate some bulls dont like bear argumemts but this is a BB and unless we're lying or manipulating the market we are free to write.

Eboracum filed BTW.
