I hope not, but who knows?

If there were suspicions of an accounting issue, wouldn't the company need to release this and say that the results are delayed pending further clarification?

I have tried the brokers a couple of times and never seem to get to anyone who can help and I spoke to the company once and was promised a call back that never came.

The last comment on the results stands that they are expected to be above market expectations. If, since that statement, any doubt has arisen, I would have thought a RNS would have to be released. If this isn't done and something bad does eventually come out then I would argue that the period between when the results were meant to have come out and when they are finally released would essentially constitute a false market.

Still, all this is speculation on something we simply don't know about and by the looks of it, aren't going to know about until some kind of announcement is released. Let's hope that it is a nice and not a nasty surprise, but of course I agree that the delay immediately makes one think of the worse.

Here's hoping we're wrong.

Still no sign of results or RNS, I can sense an accounting blunder coming out the woodwork soon!!

1st buy I've seen for a while and still no sign of results or reason for delay.

I hope they haven't discovered a black hole in the accounts.

Hi SW

I agree. The lack of a new RNS to explain (or simply acknowledge) the delay seems increasingly odd to me the longer we go without one.

If I get a chance I will try and speak with either the company or their brokers later and make this point to them.

It would have been fine had they not announced the date of their results previously. Having done that I would have thought the company was then beholden to either meet this date or explain why not.

RNS should be issued then.

I think the advisers may have been a little optimistic in suggesting this week for results. Ive been told by someone who spoke to the company earlier this week that it may be a couple of weeks. The sooner the better would be good.

Presumably, it is some good news that is pending and to be announced (other than good results) for the brokers to have marked up the price a few dats ago on zero volume.

Any comment or news?

Thanks for that Nick, still not good to miss a self-imposed deadline mind.

Had a chat with their advisers this morning and was told they haven't quite finished the audit and hence the delay. Was told nothing serious to worry about but you can't really tell I guess. They expect to be a in a position to release results this week.

As long as it's not the RNS after the close on a Friday the 13th!!!

Would finish the week off nicely that, NOT.

Hi Nick & Still Waiting.

Given how many times they have said that trading is looking good recently then I would be rather annoyed if the delay was being caused by bad news.

Another possibility that occurs to me is that an announcement might be delayed if the management were considering making a bid for the company and announcing this at the same time as the results. Let me be clear, I have no reason to think this is going to happen, other than the marketcap is extremely small and the valuation almost absurdly cheap.

Basically just idle speculation whilst waiting for the results to finally be released. But I remain amazed, whatever the reason, that the company has missed a deadline, without comment, that it set itself only a couple of weeks ago.

From Nick's post, it seems we should know something by the end of the day anyway!

Regards

TC

I am hoping to do a top up if the figures are OK and before the market realise the growth here.

But delays don't inspire confidence.

Just had a chat with the brokers who say they are chasing them up. If they aren't issued by the end of the day they will probably put an announcement out with an alternative date. Im not too sure it indicates bad news in this situation. They have kept on banging on about being ahead of forecasts and I don't think they would be that keen if outlook was going to be grim. Fingers crossed though.

I was expecting the results to be released yesterday, as per the RNS of 28th June. Given they did not appear, I rather assumed they might be out this morning, but again it appears not. Well, not yet anyway.

Anyone know when we can expect them? Seems a little odd to release a RNS a few weeks prior announcing the results date and then not meeting it?

That's twice the board has confirmed results will be ahead of market expectations but I've tried to find any broker reports for this year, to no avail.

Has anyone got a link to them?

The spread is a bit of a killer on FSS. Even the RSP's are only quoting 0.25p inside on the bid. More liquidity should present itself around results time and then hopefully spreads will narrow somewhat. I wouldn't buy at 11p though with the spread being the way it is at the moment. I would wait until results and for the spread to narrow a little. The MM have stock to shift as well so will likely drop the price as soon as a sell hits the books.

Another tick up, spread is a killer so won't attract many day traders.

Buy and hold for the re-rating..

Its a good quality business which I dont think people really understand. Their profits are hit by expansion costs. If they stopped expanding you would see a dramatic increase in profits just because they no longer have start up costs to expense.

Shame no one follows this stock.

It will double once results are out. Miniscule m cap.

New products doing all right then.

I doubt many will have even read the announcement so it might be a slow burner. Expect it to move up towards 10p by the end of the day. There was a large overhang so it should be possible to pick up stock as well. I think 12p+ come results time is a minimum if the outlook is bullish enough.
