Digital look consensus is 12.2p for march 2012 but I reckon that's out of date on the basis of recent contract wins - so 15p for next year is conservative in my view. PE of 20 to justify the 49% year on year eps growth is also conservative in my view.

15 * 20 = 300p.

Well that's what I'm hoping for anyway.

PE of 12 and 12.2p next year would only be 146.4p with no value attributed to their intellectual property (software). I think a value has to be put on this so it's not as simple as just valuing on per year profits.

SND on the up too - I suspect small cap software co's going to be in 'focus' now imo.

I reckon this could all be done and dusted by Dec results.

These just looked cheap at this price looking at them yesterday - without a bid on the table.

What were we saying yesterday? PE of 12 and 15p eps next year looking likely? 180p a share?

Anything under that looks unacceptable imo, I think 200p+ has to be placed to be a successful bid imo.

Pleased to see some holders take a quick profit.

I just had a small top up @ 130p. :-)

i think some of you may be overly optimistic, esp with regards to the bid value but we shall see. and worth noticing these have already multibaggered.

Please relax if you see 55k going through at 1.27p as it was not a sale. I really do not think a bid will be accepted at less that £1.80 and it could easily be much much higher as the stock is held tightly and nearly 50% by two parties and one was the founder so they know the value of their investment. The recent contracts have attracted lots of attention and there will be lots of potential bidders for the best of breed software on the market IMO.

I was just going to say the same thing CR - I pity the fool who takes profits in FSG at this stage.

Amazed anyone takes profits here - these are worth 120p without any bid imo - a fwd PE of under 10?

And they are rolling in cash!

ic2,

TCM is worth a dig. Either explosive growth or it'll be taken out.

I guess I have to remain realistic, and would be happy with a fair way north over 200p. Anything under this would be an absolute steal.imo.

If it does go then we must keep on digging to find other exciting opportunities. I do believe takeover action is going to become fairly frantic for quality Small Caps now.

Hold on to your hats!!!!!!

WOW

Was reading a bit more on Mastek over the W.E. and I thought then I wonder why Mastek doesn't just buy this out.

Not saying it is Mastek. Same old - wished I'd added more sub 100 now. Nice one

One thing is for sure, FSG are negotiating from a position of strength. If there is a takeover battle from global players then we could all be licking our lips. I just remember the bidding war for SWG:

Looks like a win/win now tho interceptor - either a chunky bid or you get to keep them and the same sort of gains and more over a 6-9 month period imo.

What a shame just turned the computer on to see the RNS.

It's not easy to find a company like FSG, and I had hoped to hold for another year or two to gain the real benefits.

Just hope management are strong enough to insist on a much higher price. Wouldn't be surprised to see interest from other companies and a bidding war emerge here.

Regards......

That buy of 50,000 yesterday was either very lucky or could be getting a visit from the "toughened up" FSA.

Yep, in a way a bid at £2 would be disappointing as I was genuinely expecting these to go to £2+ with the win of one more bank really. The 12.2p eps forecast must go to 15p on the win of another bigbanking contract and the PE should be at something sensible like 12-14 after that happened imo, they have nearly all the big banks wrapped up after all.

On that basis if these went at £2 in the near future it's not like they never looked like getting there in 6-9 months anyway.

Still, lets see = perhaps there is a Santa and he is going to visit here with his sack full to the hilt :-)

can MM's change their spread whenever they want, gone from 10p to 15p, similar to JDG the other week changed from 15p to 50p?
