Feeling very excited after we debuted #blackbird and it’s product range #ascent, #forte and #blackbirdedge at #nab in Las Vegas this week. It was my first time at the show too. Normally I’d have been at Mip in Cannes(where it rained all week!)! The US and international buyers at the show were suitably blown away by how incredibly powerful our cloud video platform is and how it provides a highly responsive bespoke workstation experience but from any hardware, any browser, anywhere. The video production market is embracing the cloud and (according to our customers) the blackbird codec is the best in its class. Exciting times ahead!

Last day photos: not drugged but jet lagged. Their bodies won't know what month it is. When we were sent to the USA partners were not allowed to do anything that involved a serious decision for a week; New York was bad enough but Las Vegas at -8 hrs must be horrendous especially if you know you are coming back to UK within the week. I tried sticking to UK time in Minneapolis on a 4 day visit and it was OK but I was DOA back at Gatwick and for 3 days after.

From memory I think Jeff Krebs was in the background papers for the nomination as one of the key players. Perhaps he will be the one to represent FBT on the night.
