Yes it could do with a small cash raising but other than the financials the company has never looked stronger and with it being software service revenue can ramp up fast with little extra cost.

Sales
Importantly the video market is finally wanting Cloud solutions.

NAB shows no one else has our capability in the Cloud.

So all to play for imho.

The cash issue depends on the conversion rate of customers. The net contribution to cash of new payment streams is very high because most of the costs are sunk i.e. incurred in the past but giving future benefits. Last time I looked the industry average was over 80% straight to the bottom line and advertising and promotion is usually quite a chunk of the 20%. So a turnover of £3M would probably give cash breakeven or better as staff costs now appear to have a chunk of bonuses only payable on performance. Even at £2M this year they probably wouldn't need to raise anything if they are careful with their costs.

The new CEO seems to have a good commercial background, which sounds like is what is needed. A couple of unflattering Glassdoor reviews of the Ex CEO.

It looks like they need to raise funds at some point soon looking at the cash flow statement and Net cash of £1.7m?

Added to my ISA this morning. Feels like it’s going to pop. If it wasn’t half term I think it would have already. I’m really liking this CEO, he’s a different class to Aziz. Share price was at around 11p when he left for personal reasons, and that’s when the selling started. We are in a much stronger position now, so think 10/11p could be reached very quickly. IMHO.

Saw this headline and comments, we involved in Asia Esports?:

Explosive growth in Chinese online video game viewers

Esports industry pursues huge mobile crowd (The esports Observer)
• According to Newzoo, mobile games made up 41% of the USD116bn global gaming market in 2017, however accounted for less than 0.5% of all North American and European Twitch gaming viewership.
• In China, mobile esports competitions have drawn good audiences, but the concept is still essentially new to the western markets, making the process of building mobile games into successful esports a challenge.
• Games that encourage engagement through casual peer-to-peer competition (e.g. Clash Royale) have the highest chance of becoming successful esports.

Had a chat with Ben Dales from IABM about Blackbird and why we have repositioned under the #blackbird brand and how (well) it’s been received at #nab. Exciting times indeed.
