Foot shops in MK and Derby, sales on but still very busy and looking good for a good quarter update on 16 January. Though not sure the LSE believe the tills , online and updates and could take 6 months for dramatic upturn to 50p. In interim I see share price hitting 37-39p by 20 Jan 19.

Just read yet another article on Yahoo news about the retail sector but they are also adding the on line sector now. If you read it the numbers are slightly better than a year ago.

Seems to be a plane to talk us into yet another recession.
They are entering one in Europe so they won't want us to miss out.
Well after all they will need to blame Brexit for this also.

Thanks for the update both.
I just get the feeling they are talking retail down just for the sake of it.
This is a much smaller company than than the big boys we play along side.
Its had the legs kicked from under it a few months ago now. A market cap of 32m is tinny for a company this size. Any good news early Jan will see this re-rate to a minimum 43p but i can see it being back in the 50p range end Jan. There are some real bargains out there in the re-tail sector at the moment, like M and S.

Was in MK store today at 1200 and wow, busy? It was rammed and money is being passed over as if going out of fashion. Recession and Brexit, forget it, Christmas madness and sales galore and spending. Can’t wait for 16 Jan 19 announcement!! Here goes 43p a share by 20 Jan 19.

Not much.trade on LSE today and not sure the 2 major sells today were sales. Seems someone is picking up about 100,000 shares a day from 28 -30p. Things are going well online and in the shops in MK and Derby.

I think all stores are being tared with the same brush at the moment.
There will be no real rise in the share price until results are out.
As i said yesterday, i would sooner be invested in this company valued at 30m than ones at 1.2b and 3b.

Well if my local Footasylum store is doing C£50k per week for the first 2 months trading then that's a lot of cash not going into JD, Scotts and Sports direct on that particular retail park,This figure will have ballooned in the last 2 weeks but should return back mid Jan, So taking lulls into account I estimate C2.5mln pa here alone. . . . ouchCashley has regrouped on this park putting SD, USC and Flannels (although divided) all within the old BHS outlet, imo this is a bad spot as it is away from the middle of the park on the end near the disabled/parent parking area meaning you would have to walk past FOOT then Scotts then JD to get to them. By which time you would most probably have been relieved of your cash en route.

I wonder how much FOOT are now having an affect on the sales off the likes of JD and
Sports Direct. Yes foot is a tiddler in comparison,But we are starting of in value now on the very bottom run of the ladder with a market cap of 31m. That is not priced as even a start up. Where JD has a market cap of 3.46 Billion and sports direct 1.27B.
What i am pointing out is i would sooner be invested here than those two.

Well i see ASOS the on line retailer has put out a poor update, Shares down 40%.
So there is more going on than just the high street struggling.
I have thought all along that these online retailers will start to get hit sooner or later, dot com bubble all over again. People soon get bored buying on line and want to return for there retail therapy.
If i was looking to be in a retailer now i would be looking for a company with a market cap of 31m not ones with 1b+.

Market cap 30m, they have 70 shops nationwide.
Seems very cheap to me.

I will not be posting the share performance between Foot and fst as it seems Joe has stopped posting here now. I for one don't care what fst are doing.

I see yahoo news giving the high street another kicking this morning. Yesterday looked an absolute washout across the country. To even think about comparing last years footfall to yesterdays is madness. They also say this weekend is the final weekend till Christmas? Do we not have a complete weekend next week? or are we working on a different calendar?

Low volume today and virtually nothing in the afternoon yet yesterday's 10% held along with giving us another h'penny....Great,
Maybe we will get a rally next week, If not i'm happy waiting until mid Jan for the update.
Surprised we have not had another TR1.

Great weekend all.
