Because:

- they've consistently beaten or traded in line with expectations
- highly cash-generative business model
- high recurring income
- extremely capable management which manages in a prudent fashion
- never adversely surprised the market
- global growth opportunities
- in a high growth market/sector
- excellent dividend record and yield

That's all I can think of at present - there are probably more!

Absolutely no idea why FNX trade at such a premium multiple compared to the market. Growth rate definitely doesn't suggest they deserve it IMO.

Agreed, an encouraging H1 update. Active customers are up nicely, a second tier 1 media client has launched with FNX in Ireland and EBITDA is up a very satisfactory 12% (despite a charity income decline which has thin margins so has little impact).

In addition:

- there's "a pipeline of other opportunities" in Ireland
- the "upgrade of technical infrastructure had doubled the capacity of key Fonix products

And it sounds like there's news flow to come shortly on "significant client prospects":

"Fonix's key business segments of payments and messaging have both grown in the Period and the business retains a growing pipeline of significant client prospects going into H2 FY23, and we will provide more information on these with our interim results."

Above all, the outlook is "confident in the growth potential for Fonix going into H2 FY22 and beyond".

Barclays finally "found" my FNX dividend. Only around a month late :o))

Agreed igoe104. This is hopefully a share to hold long-term as it steadily grows - all the while paying out handsome dividends unlike most of its brethren.

This share could well be £10 plus in a few years down the line. Lots of new markets too expand into...

I'm certainly holding, for many years to come yet..

Happy new year to everyone here. And a good start to 2023 for FNX - looks like almost £30,000 of buys this morning already, and more all-time highs.

Barclays still haven't "found" my dividend. Unbelievable!

I've had the same thing with dividend payment before. (With another holding ) It will eventually be sorted, but frustrating while you have to wait.😒

Nice move - new highs again.

Barclays appear to have "lost" my FNX dividend and are currently looking through their bottom drawers to see where it's been filed. Great :o))

I think the latest USA inflation number has helped the market and pushed these above the £2 barrier.

Apparently Barclays pay dividends out 10 business days after the dividend is paid to them - whereas, whilst all brokers have different policies, some (most?) pay them out of their own reserves immediately. Or at least, much more quickly.

So my FNX divi should be received on Wednesday. Are Barclays the worst or what.....

I still haven't received mine. Jarvis said on Friday it was due to the post strikes; and they were looking at alternative methods of receiving divs.

Shouldn't we have had a 4.5p dividend yesterday?

The buyer of £17k buy just now had to pay 198.75p, well above the published 197p offer. Promising.

Chubb, I used to wrestle with which day is which re divi's. Today (Friday) is record day, if your names on the record the divi's yours. The market takes 2 days to settle a sale or purchase so if you buy the day before record day, it's ex(cluding) divi or if you sell the day before record day you keep the divi. Hope that helps.
