05/3/2019 12:56 | Airline businesses is littered with failures , small airlines like Flybe more so. Nobody in their right mind should have had all their money invested here. Having said that I’m betting the “lady’ in charge of Flybe will be shown the door by the consortium in under 12 months. | whatsup32
05/3/2019 12:00 | Very true, Minerve. | miti 1000
05/3/2019 10:40 | I feel a real sorrow for the many elderly investors who have lost many tens of thousands of pounds in Flybe. I've never understood why so many people invest the vast majority of their retirement savings in just one company rather than diversifying in 10 or more companies. I know many elderly have lost big time in bitcoin, many lost in Bradford and Bingley etc... | loganair
05/3/2019 09:42 | Well, this panned out exactly as flybe said it would and exactly as some of the less bonkers posters on here predicted. Amusing to see claims of vote rigging now. These idiots really should not be investing in equity. Go find a few passive funds and leave your money in the hands of those slightly more capable. Anybody who had more than 1-2% of their portfolio in flybe is not qualified to make investment decisions on their own behalf. Those who bought recently north of 1p need to seek help. There was only ever one of 2 results, 1p per share or 0p per share. No other option was ever viable. | sippguru
05/3/2019 09:25 | There's always going to be gullible investors | once bitten1
05/3/2019 08:53 | This whole event was effectively a tax on people who can't do maths.....? | sweyn
04/3/2019 22:46 | Flybe is full of crooks I would not be amazed if votes were rigged. They have not done anything by the books just used loop holes to their advantage . FCA in UK might as well close down nd are yet to serve their purpose. The US more clued on. | devasted19
04/3/2019 22:39 | I agree. No bonuses should be paid but you need to look at the bonus criteria because the objectives which were set for her may have been met. That comes down to poor corporate governance on the remuneration committee and the beneficiary having no moral compass. | minerve 2
04/3/2019 22:30 | I wonder if the big shareholders were advised by their legal advisors to vote in favour due to better prospects of legal action rather than company be wound up??? I still think BOD shouldn't be allowed a bonus for one big mess up it's not fair karma will get you. | devasted19
04/3/2019 21:08 | MINERVE AND FRIENDS TOLD YOU. | minerve 2
04/3/2019 21:05 | Look at the size of vote on RNS against total number of shares in issue. | bray2

04/3/2019 17:44 | Remuniration board at Flybe have a lot to answer for. This ‘lady’ is rewarded with a reported million for having run the company down to near zero value. Justification if you please. I would wager the first chance consortium get she will be shown the door . | whatsup32
04/3/2019 17:24 | Yes she will get her incentive awarded | bray2
04/3/2019 17:14 | Lovely Lady | knowing
04/3/2019 17:01 | Will this mean COW gets her £1,000,000 bonus ? An absolute disgrace if she does. She doesn’t even deserve to keep her job. | europa79 |
