Minerve. Time to bring this to an end. I dont want to `pick an argument'. I much prefer open/honest discussion. So if you were/are short on Flybe/bought into stob. then some reasoning for the position is preferable- it allows debate.

Tell me what are Stobs losses, and their debts? When you deduct stobs losses and debts from their marketcap, what are you left with?

Now that they are in the process of transferring assets to Connect airways and assuming the costs of Flybe most likely not. I have mentioned my concerns about this on both threads. If I lose money it will be my fault. I will not start banding on about conspiracies and such stupidity to cover my own incompetence if it happens.

Gosh, the institutions analysts all need to be sacked...after all they are screwing up peoples pension funds. I would raise that as a matter of urgency with the government...

I don't need to work for any investment group. I can do a much better job myself, and if I don't, then the mistake is all mine - 100%.

Minerve...oh dear...not even worth a response, but I will!. I did read the accounts, as I presume did the institutions. If you are so good you really should apply for a job in the investment arms of these institutions...I am sure you will make more money doing that than investing in Stob!

Further, I was clear that I had sold out. I was also clear that there was a conspiracy. I think Hoskings believe the same. Information released after the event indicate that much requires to be `unpacked'.

Minerve, I really do not have the aspirations you allude to. As to my competence...well you dont know me. As to your advice...is that on gender relations/relationships/treatment of others/invective...Really dont think there is much you have to offer that I might want. Sorry...you just `look after' your wife and family! Although, I must admit, I pity them...but then we live in different life spheres, and it is not really for me to judge. However, I do worry about the society around which my children might live in...thankfully they will be distanced from it...but not unaware!

You have the wrong temperament for investing. Seriously, I suggest you try something else. Investing is not for you.

You really don't know me so I don't really attach any weight to what you say.

If you are to keep with investing I would suggest not to get emotionally attached to a share, and if you lose, not allow bitterness and envy drive your emotions and your activity from the point of loss. You will just end-up losing more, or wasting time in negativity, which has been obvious to most users of this thread for the last few months.

Who knows, in 20 years, if you are still around, you might be as good as me. ;)

...oh I didn't ever suggest it would be a Tinler/Hoskings Phoenix, merely the only positive outcome that PI's might get is through Hoskings/Tinkler actions... quite different from what you are alluding

The only sad person on this thread is the loser who continually holds on to the fantasy that Flybe will become a Tinkler/Hoskings' phoenix and rise out of the ashes.
