15/1/2019 11:58 | Sorry you expected the RNS to say, "hi everybody, we are knackered, no money left, debt all over the place, but would anybody like to buy us"???? Get real, the share price collapsed when that RNS came out as most people read it and realised straight away what was happening. If you didn't understand it then that's on you. | sippguru
15/1/2019 11:51 | tabhair, you may/may not be right...lets see what happens | mhin2
15/1/2019 11:51 | So tomorrow will be last day of trading. I guess it will go below 1p. Regards, USA | united snakes of advfn
15/1/2019 11:50 | Sipp. the nov rns, didnt quite paint that story... · After a 9.0% reduction in capacity, Group revenue fell by 2.4% to £409.2m (H1 2017/18: £419.2m · Adjusted profit before tax1 increased to £14.0m (H1 2017/18: £9.4m). Excluding the impact of the E195 onerous lease, the adjusted profit before tax of £9.9m (H1 2017/18: £9.2m) is slightly ahead of guidance given in the October trading update. · Profit before and after tax reduced to £7.4m (H1 2017/18: £16.1m) reflecting £6.6m of non-cash revaluation losses on USD aircraft loans (H1 2017/18: gains of £6.7m). · Net assets increased to £118.6m (31st March 2018: £91.5m) reflecting improved hedging gains given adverse sterling and fuel price movements and a lower pension deficit. · Net debt increased to £82.1m including £70.6m cash (31st March 2018: £59.1m including £95.0m cash) reflecting the seasonality of cash and adverse sterling movements. · Q3 is showing a positive improvement with 63% of seats sold (Q3 2017/18: 59%). 1 Adjusted profit before tax is reported profit before tax excluding the revaluation effect of USD aircraft loans (see page 8). etc | mhin2
15/1/2019 11:49 | The speed at how things are unfolding at Flybe suggests the situation is critical. My guess ao the decline in Stobart's share price is likely over concerns that they may be unable to support Flybe's cash bleed. | tabhair
15/1/2019 11:46 | mhin, i'm sorry but have you not followed this story? The business is skint, cashflow is only going in one direction. Credit card merchants are withholding payments to flybe yet flybe has bills to pay. They've sold and leased back assets and appear to have exhausted the proceeds already. It was very clearly on the edge on folding and probably still is. No deal here and liquidation would probably have occurred this week. Your conspiracy theories don't make sense given the massive liabilities this company faces, contractual obligations, pension obligations and mounting debt with next to no income. The directors put the company up for sale as it was no longer viable, things we certainly not settling, in fact far from it. | sippguru
15/1/2019 11:28 | Tabhair I dont think there is any catastrophe that suggests Flybe needs to implode, or is ready to implode. In fact from all the information supplied to date there was turbulence, but things were settling...there is some very dodgy stuff going on here, and it is that what might give rise to implosion. Interesting that the Stob share price is falling....could there be some form of new litigation about to start? It would certainly suit Tinkler to be able to accuse incumbent Stob directors of malpractice...that would be fun! | mhin2
15/1/2019 11:19 | I can understand why holders are annoyed, but the situation sounds dire here. Conditions of the Stobart offer not being met, £10m of bridge financing needing to be released today. Sounds like creditors have completely pulled the credit lines and management either try to get the deal pushed through or the company goes into recievership. People need to see the wood from the trees here though. Flybe carry 8 million passengers a year and employ over 2300 people. No one wants this thing to implode. | tabhair
15/1/2019 11:09 | Sandcrab, there must be more to it than short closing. Even though the quoted company will be a shell it may have some value in terms of claims against former directors. Also the board have done everything possible to stop it going into administrstion. Maybe there is still some leverage to prevent this possibility. This whole takeover has been perverse so I don't expect the madness to end just yet. | danny baker
15/1/2019 11:08 | Why close shorts now? - If you've been short from 40p then closing at 1p or 2p wont make much difference to return. However if it goes into admin you could be waiting months for your gains to be paid. | phowdo
15/1/2019 10:59 | Why close shorts? Is loan stock being called in? | typo56
15/1/2019 10:54 | Price only over 1p with bears closing their shorts | sandcrab2
15/1/2019 10:50 | ...paranoia? dont think so...look up the events, statements etc....a conspiracy | mhin2
15/1/2019 10:48 | The Directors of Flybe are guilty of very poor management of Flybe over many years. | loganair
15/1/2019 10:47 | Genuine emate Mhin Please stop it. Only Conspiracy was to force genuine gamblers to buy shares 4p+ when offer was 1p. THANK YOU FOR PARTAKING IN THE TRANSACTION, SELL HIGH BUY LOW. ANT AND THE COLONY ARE VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE LEGAL TRANSACTION. ANT THOUGHT THE HOUSE WAS WINNING YESTERDAY BUT WE INCREASED. BA STEALING IS GOOD | bullet ant
15/1/2019 10:46 | ??? Flybe is clearly on the edge of insolvency A great move by the consortium to block Tinkler What do you suppose the Directors are guilty of? from where does your paranoia come? | phillis
15/1/2019 10:37 | There is clearly a conspiracy here (there must be illegality)...I await and see if any of the big players will pursue this, or if they have been forwwarned, and allowed to partake in the conspiracy...the PI's have been obviously and blatantly shafted... | mhin2
15/1/2019 10:28 | some people say they are holding their nerve...I think its best to hold your nose...this stinks to high heaven...if the authorities cant sniff it, you know whose side they are on! Time for reform of the corporate structures. Vote Labour! | mhin2
15/1/2019 10:18 | They'll also be FTSE funds selling in closing auction tomorrow. | typo56
15/1/2019 10:16 | My biutiful emates I think 1.95p is better than sub 1p. Sub 1p is coming because delisting means forced sell out. IT'S BEEN REALLY A GOOD START FOR THE COLONY. WE ARE STARVING BECAUSE OF WINTER. THE KING OF OF ANTS HAD TO COME TO RESCUE OF THE COLONY. WE WILL PILLAGE EVERYTHING ALL THE WAY TO 0.5P TODAY BA STEALING IS GOOD. | bullet ant
15/1/2019 10:15 | Sadly, like gamblers who are losing their shirt, when losing money on a share too many private retail investors believe in the Hype of others that the company they're invested in is worth much more then the current share price and that the sum of the parts are worth even more; On a day to day running basis Flybe are losing cash at an horrendous rate and on top they have large lease and pension liabilities to pay. The only reason I think Flybe is being rescued, unlike other airlines such as Monarch, is because they have such a large share of the domestic UK market that if allowed to go bust would have a huge effect on the UK and bad for the UK economy. | loganair |
