I hope you are right but I think it will take another 1 or 2 sets of figures to get confidence levels up after the last 3 years of almost constant decline from the dizzy heights of 120/130p. Last quarter was encouraging but 40p seems a hard hurdle to crack! Fingers crossed and its maybe nearing time to buy some chips!!

Haha, the mm's are being naughty. They won't be able to hold it back soon. This will move fast when it happens. I've been accumulating while others have been looking the other way.

Cornwall's airport has seen a jump in demand for flights over the bank holiday weekend.

29th August 2017

Flybe says passenger numbers for its routes from Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester to Newquay were all on the up.
Bosses say travellers have been making the most of the short journey times, with the Glasgow to Newquay route taking just one hour and 40 minutes to cover the 500 mile journey.
Flybe CEO, Christine Ourmieres-Widener comments: "There has been increased interest this year in domestic travel as people choose to stay closer to home and enjoy all that the UK has to offer.
"The demand we have seen this August Bank Holiday weekend has supported this and been strongest on some of our most popular UK mainland destinations.
"At this time of the year, travel is traditionally extremely chaotic and battling the road and chaos and widespread rail disruption is particularly time consuming.
"There is a clear trend that customers have chosen to soar above it all, saving time and stress by letting the plane take the strain, especially when travelling longer distances routes that criss-cross the length and breadth of the UK.
"With 53% percent of all UK domestic air travel being taken on Flybe flights, this would indicate that customers are choosing to stay within the UK rather than travel farther afield to make the most of the last long summer weekend before the start of the new school year."

Flybe's Top Six Most Improved Routes over the 2017 August Bank Holiday:

Glasgow to Newquay
Newcastle to Southampton
Birmingham to Newquay
Exeter to Glasgow
Manchester to Newquay
Edinburgh to Manchester

what i'd hate to see is if people keep selling and some market makers accumulates via "the dark art" somehow.... Then suddenly the price jumps to 50p or 60p (on a minor bit of news) and the market maker is sitting on a fortune....

I hope that sort of thing never happens in the real world.

I've just been looking at the earnings forecasts. 2.48p eps for the current year and 7.19p for next year. That's a PE of 5.6.

These really don't have much in the price do they? I picked up my first tranche today and will definitely be adding.

Do tell why? - so far the lowest AT sells today are at 41 - so that remains support until it isn't :)
