Talking of air crashes, they've had quite a few emergency landings over the past year (landing gear failure and engine shutdowns mid flight), CEO needs to look into their maintenance proceedures.

My wife uses FLYB when visiting relatives in Scotland and has always been pleased with the service. So, that's one of us happy at least!!!

Always been a good enough service, have had a couple of delays, normally 20 to 30 minutes but usually away on time.

I don't class it as cheap though and they're tightening up on baggage allowances and that's another £40

Most gate staff are happy to give the specific reasons for delays on my encounters in the air. I also work in the aviation industry and there is generally a transparent attitude to issues regarding delays. I'm not doubting your comments but....

About 30 passengers on the (delayed) flight. Reason given: "operational problems" so no reason given :)

Not faster than road or rail today.

I don't know where the floor is, but I can't see how they can make decent money with the routes and frequency they currently have.

I would think that if the BoD have any sense at all they will charge the CEO with making it attractive to an acquisitive competitor - so cut loads of cost, don't invest in the IT systems required (the acquirer will have those so it money down the sh1tter) but invest in the web portal to try and up traffic.

Unless they stop calling themselves a low cost airline and do something about their poor service and cancellations and delays, and are seen as a quality fair priced reliable airline by their customers, they will continue to be viewed as a tin pot company that is out of touch with the public, and what they now demand from service providers.

I bet they are not very helpful either when things do get cancelled or delayed.

I have avoided flying with them for several years, due to poor service, over-priced seats, and a misleading website (cheap flights) not even the shares are cheap imo.

Delayed 40 minutes this morning en route to LCY and plane had plenty spare seats. 90 minute delay going back to EXT - pretty poor
