Great! Flutter got the valuation it wanted from the ruling. Media will always try to spin this one way or another. Numbers don't lie.

"As of 4 November 2022 the Option price is $4.1bn made up of the $3.7bn exercise price for 18.6% of FanDuel plus the 5% annual carrying value adjustment. "

Supplemental issue that remains is the IPO::

1) "The remaining matter before the tribunal is whether and, if so, under what conditions FOX is entitled to participate in an IPO of a parent company of FanDuel, should one occur. Flutter has agreed that it will not proceed with any potential IPO, if at all, until the tribunal has resolved this remaining matter or both parties have reached an agreement on the matter. A binding decision from the arbitrator on this point is expected in early 2023."

isn't it odd that on the day DK is down 28% we are up by 3%. Makes me think the market has disconnected Flutter from DK and actually sees DK underperformance as a recognition that Flutter is over performing in same market dynamics...

Archibald, we shall see how they did very soon yet i suspect with the numbers that some of posters kindly advise, FD will be leaps beyond what DK did in the USA. Also remember we now have Tombola and Sisal full quarters and while I am not sure that Tombola contributes to bottom line, I am sure that Sisal did. Plus PokerStars has now opened in Ontario and is advertising there and FD is owning the NFL TSN experience. These items are all accretive to last year.

Hi - long time lurker/first time posting.
I thought the interesting thing about DKNG result was that they exceeded revenue targets by 17/18% or so.
They had some Cal Prop 27 expenses (as do FD) but you could have looked at those results as pretty good.
Still expecting FLTR results to be excellent especially with the strong $ meaning those FD revenues will be even higher in GBP.

DKNG continues to believe they can just spend spend spend, and yet how is that working for their investors?

Another rock solid week for FD in NY. W/E 30.10, handle $140.6m-40.7%, revenue $18m-53%. The revenue figure is over double of second placed DK.

If you can get it the ‘82 Barnaut (RD) is as good at a fraction of the price!

that '82 Cristal sounds nice... i'd settle for Rum and Eggnog at this point haha

Honestly, the audit should reinforce Flutters committment to being up to spec on identifying and mitigating money laundering. I think we'd all agree that this is in everyones best interest.

The outcome of the audit will force Sportsbet and Bet365 to comply with any anit-money laundering or counter-terrorism finacing obligations... as should any other company dealing in finance.

Gambling has always had that element to it, so if we can add measures to insure a better standard.. i'm all for it

How can this 10 year option possibly work on a valuation on a set date last year? In 1 month or a year, never mind 9 years it will be inaccurate

You are right. Arbitration is final. That’s what they agreed to.

Fox have a 10 year option running from July 2021 to buy c. 18% of Fanduel on a pricing basis that is disputed but which will be settled by the arbitration decision.

I don't think that its necessarily the case that Fox will exercise their option imminently, irrespective of the decision.

Also, arbitration decisions can rarely be appealed - the decision is generally final and binding on both parties.
