27/11/2015 21:50 | The share price fall since September reflects problems faced by FLO peers and other MRO vendors. Betabite Hydraulics went bust in October. Brammer had a profit warning on 11 Nov. On 19 Nov, Electrocomponents reported a fall in interim profit and initiated a major performance improvement plan. So the market thinks FLO is not immune to similar headwinds and that bad news are just around the corner. So now may be a good time to top up if one believes FLO is different. But the knife is still falling and that's therefore really not for the faint-hearted! | ftrottier
24/11/2015 11:56 | Relatively small amounts make it look like a whip round to support share price Nevertheless on the info available to the market this looks a buy IMHO. | twirl
24/11/2015 08:28 | would have thought that director buying would show support - waiting in earnest! | brad1
22/11/2015 11:15 | Always the conundrum cyberbub, isn't it? Sadlt insider knowledge is alive and well, just less blatant and widespread, so you can never be sure... | edmundshaw
21/11/2015 21:05 | Just looking in here. The volume spike in early Nov must surely have been Blackrock dumping their entire holding? The volume roughly matches their holding size. As there haven't been any other significant holdings declarations, if the share price is still dropping fast (albeit it is illiquid so any movements will be exacerbated), it must mean that investors think (or know!) that there is an ongoing problem at the company... or that future profits are likely to be greatly reduced? Would be interested to hear the views of long-term investors. I think the company looks cheap at first glance, could be a good opportunity to buy some. But the old saying "if it looks too good to be true..." may apply? | cyberbub
19/11/2015 16:08 | Looked good at 102p. I checked it out and came back and it was 110p... :-( | edmundshaw
18/11/2015 16:21 | I think its a good co.and have been watching it for a year since IC tip. A relatively small propn of holdings by a couple of inst kicked off the fall and with so few shares in free float and a few losing nerve has sent this to todays low. Maybe lower soon? I thought that with a 5p+ divi it was a good buy at 105. | twirl
18/11/2015 14:34 | Pity I didn't do the same !! | farmsted
17/11/2015 15:07 | It is a good company, farmsted, but I think being somewhat dependent on oil company spending (or lack of it) may be seen as a bit of an Achilles heel at present. Even if the oil industry is only one aspect of the company, it will affect market perception. I sold out at 147 and I will look to buy back once it bottoms out. | lord gnome
17/11/2015 14:32 | I thought this was a good company, others don't think the same !!!! | farmsted
11/11/2015 12:17 | agreed, we need the results (due April I think), unless we get some good news in the meantime to turn sentiment. | brad1
10/11/2015 16:37 | The current share price volatility can be reasonably attributed to the changes in the institutional SHs in the last few weeks - in the short term the price volatility will not recede until the next set of results are out IMO. | 1regent
10/11/2015 16:17 | A huge 75% of shares are held by large investment managers, Did the price drop for more large buys 2 at 250000 today. | petewy
10/11/2015 13:58 | I tend to think so, but do not like this constant dropping in share price Slight pick up today but for how long? I understand there were some fund manager sells, which has probably added to the decline. | brad1
23/10/2015 13:13 | In my view, announcements such as today's often provide good buying opportunities and I doubt that it conceals anything really nasty in the offing. The last trading RNS from the company was positive. If it had been the FD or CEO that had gone today, I would have been much more concerned. The initial selling was almost certainly overdone and the share price has already recovered most of the fall. | lord gnome
23/10/2015 09:35 | Paul Watson, Flowtech's Group Marketing Director, steps down from the Board with immediate effect. Isn't this selling overdone? | petewy
21/8/2015 15:30 | Change of heart since my last post. Out at 147.5 today to free up some cash to buy stocks which have been battered in the mayhem. | lord gnome
13/7/2015 11:29 | Nice to see this making new highs. 165p is my short term target. | lord gnome
26/6/2015 16:44 | Flowtech Fluidpower plc (AIM:FLO), bought Nelson Hydraulics Limited ("NHL") and its parent company Nelson Fluid Power Limited ("NFP"). The consideration comprises £4.1 million (part of which is subject to an earn-out) for the trading operation and £1.7 million for the net cash position held at completion, a total of £5.8 million. The consideration is being funded from the Company's own cash resources. 71% of shares held by major shareholders (FT) | petewy
26/6/2015 14:55 | Lord> I've rang them before when they have been late, the reason they gave was late getting the money in and having to allocate the proceeds. | joeall |
