28/4/2017 11:19 | it is clear that the market does not expect more than 10M or so from the sale of the energy division.. | moorsie2
27/4/2017 15:51 | Not looking good. Down again.......If Stiff and co have anything to do with it there won't be any.... Action that is. What beggars belief is how some people on here think a company currently valued at 11.5 million could be worth over 80 million after the sale of the energy division. Silly or what? Company currently valued at 9.9 million | 1fox1
27/4/2017 13:35 | May next week, so not too long to wait for the action.............. | chrisdgb
26/4/2017 18:19 | Hello Mr MacGregor. Well at least I'm consistent. Hope you are keeping well sir | 1fox1
25/4/2017 13:32 | lol, i await with baited breath | little beaker
24/4/2017 02:45 | In 2004 SSE bought Atlantic Electric & Gas for £90.7m.Atlanti The Flow Energy sale is not quite as simple as the Atlantic sale, because of the boiler business, which I don't think the buyer would want to acquire. The boiler business could be sold separately, and the whole company wound up,with a distribution to share holders.I would expect approx 23p per share, after any debt settled. This is the outcome I would prefer. This is just my opinion, and a calculated guess. | area44
23/4/2017 11:24 | Not sure about that but to get the sale past share holders one of two things must happen. They must, as you say, offer something tangible to share holders or explain via an RNS where they are with boiler tests, trials and commercialisation. If they do neither, the sale will simply not happen. | entropy22
21/4/2017 13:46 | I am going for a 8p per share cash distribution post sale............ | chrisdgb
20/4/2017 15:17 | looks a decent deal | meganxmas
20/4/2017 11:07 | iresa... purely based on price. to be fair the transition has been smooth and website is pretty clear and easy to use. when initially switched to flow they were the cheapest ... also held shares and wanted to see what they were like. again to be fair the transition to them was smooth and no issues. | meganxmas
20/4/2017 10:53 | megan, If you don't mind me asking, who did you switch to? | kemche
20/4/2017 10:37 | on flow customers .... i came to end of one year deal a few months ago. the quote for this year (combined elec n gas) was about 10% higher than couldget elsewhere so i switched. value of flow energy deal will depend on levels of churn ... if customers sticking great ... ofnot then not so great. | meganxmas
20/4/2017 09:48 | area I agree the energy side of the business has been a success. I don't go along with it being worth 80 million on completion of sale. Where do you get those figures from? The boiler? Well that is the bone of contention isn't it? Think of it like this. The boiler officially has been on sale well over two years. The price has not been affected by VAT because in that time and even now it only carries a 5% VAT charge. Now in all this time it's been on sale can someone out there tell me just how many boilers have actually been sold in the whole of the United Kingdom? In my opinion investors have been led up the garden path by various RNS statements made by the company both in the lead up and after the launch of the boiler. Indeed I would be interested to know if they know anyone who has one of these boilers in a fully working condition. | 1fox1
19/4/2017 20:11 | 1fox1 The energy business has been a huge success.I think you mean the boiler section of the business, has not lived up to the early projections - but may do better in Europe. Flow Energy will have about 300,000 customers now,and looking back at the numbers,it seems that people sign up at a faster rate in summer than winter. I still think it's worth £40 mln now,and after the sale(if it goes through),at least double that. We will just have to wait and see. As you say,I only recently bought these. | area44
19/4/2017 19:38 | Taken from the RNS of the 21st March Whilst there can be no guarantee that the sale of Flow Energy Limited will complete with this party, or that the sale of Flow Energy Limited will complete at all. He He He...Typical double edged RNS from Flow... There is usually a get out or an excuse. Slippery | 1fox1
19/4/2017 17:00 | You having a laugh, its been weak since May 2016 to be precise! | jscowi
19/4/2017 15:48 | Weak today............... | chrisdgb
18/4/2017 19:02 | Finals 29th April last year tied in with Daiken distribution deal.Sure they would like to have something tied up by then to coincide? | kooba
18/4/2017 16:55 | At the moment I think the company is worth about £40 mln,and that's approx 12p per share - so very oversold in my opinion. | area44
18/4/2017 16:50 | 1fox1 Due diligence will take a while, and I think we would have heard if it was a non starter by now. I'm expecting an RNS in the next two weeks. They did say in the next few weeks in the March 21 RNS. There is a lot of talking down of this stock on another board - all seem to be somewhat mental. | area44
18/4/2017 14:22 | Hmmmmmmmm. Nearly a month since the announcement. Another red herring? I wonder | 1fox1
17/4/2017 15:54 | Shares have been in freefall for a year now - down more than 80%. Killing its UK White Horse has been unfortunate. A move to focus on Europe has been a financial pain for shareholders. However, prospects in Europe look quite good and the bear factor overdone - could surprise. | noirua |
