21/8/2016 22:01 | Grandwood just had a look at the Excel spreadsheet regarding mCHP installs and could not see where it said which companies did the 45 installs. February 2016, total to date, 650 and end of June, total to date, 695 which does give 45, BUT 12 were fitted in March and Flow did their first install around 15th April? Only one boiler was fitted in April so we know how many Flow fitted. I could not see evidence of who installed the remaining 17 in May and 15 in June. AGM statement dated 23 June stated 20 installs (Target was 100) to end of June. I we leave it up to people to make their own judgement | oldunc

21/8/2016 15:42 | Does anyone know how many boilers have been installed yet? I guess its still early days, but Autumn should kick-off the winter selling season. Also has anyone had a boiler fitted themselves? If so that's it like - does it save money on energy bills? Jabil have certainly put alot of investment/effort behind the product so it should be pretty good. | brummy_git

17/8/2016 12:51 | hxxp://utilityweek.c Dated 1 August 2016 The independent supplier announced plans to recruit 150 staff by the end of 2016, as its customer accounts have already grown from 100,000 to 220,000 in the last six months. Flow has also appointed Charles Breslin as new customer service delivery director, following the rapid growth of the existing customer service team which has increased by 146 per cent in the last 18 months. Flow Energy managing director Andrew Beasley said: “Our business has grown rapidly and we now have over 220,000 customer fuel accounts. Fast expansion can often see customers being neglected; however, we have an outstanding record when it comes to customer service. “We intend to employ as many local staff as possible to continue to deliver excellent service. We’re delighted that Charles will be joining the team and helping us build on our already strong reputation in this area.” Breslin has held service roles for over 30 years and will be responsible for further developing the customer service delivery function and providing leadership and guidance to Flow’s existing customer service team. The new customer service delivery director Charles Breslin said: “Customer service is fundamental in building loyalty and trust, and the impact it has on an organisation is what originally drew me to the profession. “Flow Energy has seen rapid growth in the last year, as customers look for a different type of energy company – one that delivers both excellent value and a high level of service.” Flow Energy became the first small supplier to reach second place in the Citizens Advice complaints league table since smaller suppliers were added in 2015. The firm received 32.6 complaints per 100,000 customers in Q1 of 2016. | meganxmas
17/8/2016 12:49 | hxxp://utilityweek.c Flow Energy became the first small supplier to reach second place since smaller suppliers were added to the league table in 2015, receiving 32.6 complaints per 100,000 customers in Q1. 2nd place is 2nd lowest level of complaints which is superb. 04/8/2016 17:15 | 45 installations - in 4 months-that's amazing totals 135 a year or one every 3 days. At this rate price will be 5p by xmas. | loobrush
04/8/2016 16:45 | Just to confirm Flow aren't telling porkies, the boiler now appears on the MCS product pages: And there have been 45 mCHP "installations" recorded in 4 months to end June which blows away the single install in the previous 12 months! I expect these numbers (both new and revised) to start ramping up over coming months: | grandwood

23/6/2016 13:47 | If the DECC see's sense from the seven firms lobby then could be back to business on the boiler...unsure on timescales on that decision but since the change in FiT unit volumes was at consultation phase it's not fixed...yet. | kooba
23/6/2016 13:39 | "We continue to develop our strategy for the Flow boiler in Europe. As part of this strategy, production units have been sent to Trillary in Italy and to our previously-announced European client for testing. We are also in discussions with a potential German partner."So the big European utility has units on trial...so still ongoing. They initially had units in 2014 and models have been sent with updated spec....so still engaged.Would imagine bagging an elephant would take time but it is not at all priced imho.Would expect quicker progress on the Italian trials smaller outfit motivated to get to market quickly. In meantime a good and detailed update I thought. | kooba

23/6/2016 07:28 | Detailed AGM announcement - good news on Energy offset by slow mHP installations, but overall profits in line. I can quite understand the issues they are having with FCA regime for consumer credit - they do need to get this right - it's a nightmare compared to the OFT. | 18bt
15/6/2016 10:23 | AGM next Thursday referendum day, last year they made a statement. I suppose if we exit then VAT matters will be resolved but possible effect on EU sales would not be clear. | paleje |
