Keep those predictions coming Moorstradamus! You have been bang on the money so far. A bid of 4177 just now shows there is upside to come. The growth will have to reamin stellar but there is so much potential in the secondary markets as yet untapped that there is good reason that FDP has a fair bit to aim for.

I was very happy to reach 40 for the end of 2017.

Congratulations to all holders and lets hope 2018 can be as good to us as 2017 - if so we would have a price of 85 by 31st Dec 2018!

This is unlikely but not impossible. Still believe we will have 100 by 3 years from today

Almost at £42 on the ask now. This one is flying and trying to call the top is foolish. It must be hard for MM's to get shares as who wants to sell even after an almost 300% increase in 2017.

Bid at 4095 and ask at 4108. Very narrow range.

I expect to see a large transaction through this afternoon probably posted erroneously as a sell around 4075.

This will show the buyer is still active above 40

Like a lot of good stocks, I worried when I bought it (at £7 and £9 )that it was overvalued-
And that sense of "fully valued" has continued since then, and stopped me adding at times as I felt it was bound to fall back to a more reasonable valuation, and so a s better price to add

I have learnt my lesson, -buy the good stocks and be brave enough to add if they show themselves to be thoroughbreds - but thankfully I bought enough back in the day to make it my third largest holding by now, so I am very grateful

I believe that the 42k trade was a purchase.

The fact that the CFO offloaded 22k shares tells me that there is a significant buyer in the market mopping up shares. This was from 35 upwards the only question for me I how much does this buyer want and at what price.

I expect to be above 50 this time next year and then 100 , 3 years from now. But this expectations are totally dependent on the success of Kx in new virtical markets.

Strong buying taking place from 36 upto to 40. And it does not feel like this is the order filled

Such new money coming in at these levels is very satisfying for us long term holders

Hi Algo - I thought Kx was only used for structured data. Does this mean it now has unstructured data capability?

Mach100 - Where it goes in 2018 in terms of share price all depends on the traction and success made by Kx in new markets.

If Kx is opening new opportunities in new vertical markets and gaining a reputation of being the "goto" system for big data then the valuation could be 60-80 within 12 months.

Normal rules of valuation don't apply to technological game changers...

The potential scale of this technology is mind blowing.

Can see it being a take out by any number of major tech companies. But at multiples of todays price - Oracle, IBM, Google, SAP etc etc

So... the day has finally arrived when the market cap reaches £1Bn.What an amazing achievement - and yet its likely only the beginning of Kx's journey. So many people have yet to hear about its colossal capabilities.well done to the management of FD on achieving this milestone.Ps - in case people didn't see the recent announcement regarding improved integration of Kx with Python, one of the (many) benefits is that it now unleashes the power of Kx to examine digital images. Homeland security and law enforcement next?

Yes Moorsie and a nice finish on £38. When this moves, it moves in bounds. Up to a new high now so the question is whether it will kick on to £40 or retrace now after a 11% rise in the last month alone from £34. Still holding mine despite having planned to sell at £16.

Mach100 - look at today 35,000 shares (12,000 and 23,000 if my memory serves me well) was traded at 37.00. They are definitely buys not sells as such size of sells would have walked the price down to below 35. Once these buy orders have cleared (maybe 35k is it cleared maybe not) then the price will jump up.
