21/4/2015 11:24 | Do we have information on how some of the earlier acquisitions have performed. Reference Data Factory (“RDF”)i Is it a purchase that has been justified with the benefit of hindsight? | flybyknight
15/4/2015 15:39 | Agree the acquisitions look pricey Mach100 but I like to look at fdp as a private company where the focus is on the long term rather than immediate earnings enhancement to please the short term stock market. I think Brian Colon has a good eye for the long term and will be able to leverage these companies IP for much greater eps. | mog
15/4/2015 12:48 | Bouncing back today mog. I am a bit disappointed with the premiums they have paid for acquisitions but overall this company will start to rerate eventually to 16 pounds. Good upside from here. | mach100
15/4/2015 00:26 | Disappointing drop today. On p/e it probably is overrated but I do believe in their long term strategy to build their IP and product portfolio. | mog
07/4/2015 12:33 | The Affinity acquisition is costing £7.7m, in return for a mere £2.3m turnover and £0.2m PBT. FDP is obviously on a building-up strategy, but this is the third expensive acquisition in a matter of weeks, Note that nowhere in any of these RNS's is there any mention at all of earnings enhancement for an already very high/expensive share price rating. | rivaldo
07/4/2015 09:51 | 4 weeks to results - I expect to see this share price rally in that period.. | moorsie2
01/4/2015 16:25 | Lots of spare dosh Are these really all value add? Great job if they are | flybyknight
27/3/2015 14:57 | Recovering somewhat after the sell-off on the acquisition news. A reassuring update would help propel this forward again. Norn Iron seems stuck in limbo for now so the corporation tax cut situation is still unclear. | mach100
27/3/2015 09:43 | So this week has passed without a trading update. (was on the last Wed of March in 2014 - 26th March) Not exactly the greatest amount of Investor Relations Communication. Come on guys reassure everyone that trading with in line with market expectations and that the business has started this financial year strongly! | moorsie2
24/3/2015 16:52 | I don't think the market are too impressed.I take Rivaldo's point about a cosy deal but OTHD it might mean being less of a gamble. Let's hope it can bounce back tomorrow. | mach100
24/3/2015 12:37 | Hi Moorsie, cheers. I assume that almost any profit at all will be earnings-enhancing if FDP are paying low interest rates on increased loan drawdowns! Nevertheless, €4.75m has left the business, with potentially more to come, which seems expensive to me. If the share price fell to 850p-900p I'd certainly be interested again. | rivaldo
24/3/2015 11:47 | Hi Rivaldo - good to see you post here. I would like to see how the company determines it to be immediately earnings enhancing based on the numbers you have posted... | moorsie2
24/3/2015 11:41 | I still follow FDP with interest. Today's deal seems a little bit "cosy", given the vendors are non-execs of FDP. Especially as an initial €4.75m consideration buys just €1m revenues and €0.2m PBT. At 1185p FDP are on a historic P/E of 29 and a 2015/16 P/E of 23. It's a great company, but I just wonder how much if any upside there is for the next year or two on those numbers, especially given all the investment going on which is unlikely to see forecasts being beaten. | rivaldo
24/3/2015 09:52 | im out for now moorsie added phtm with funds | gucci
24/3/2015 09:31 | Indeed - usually someone is in the know.... I guess we have to wait and see the results from full year ending Feb 2015. Management has never not delivered so I would be expecting a result in line with market expectations otherwise a profits warning would have been issued. I am buying more if it drops much further.. | moorsie2
24/3/2015 09:17 | chart a little worrying could easily drift towards 900p | gucci
24/3/2015 08:12 | Very positive sign this bolt on aquisition this morning. Non Exec Director sells his business to the company and becomes Executive manager now. Its immediately earnings enhancing so the business is not in trouble. It reinforces the potential here over the next few years. My shares are going to be tucked away for significant future growth | moorsie2
22/3/2015 09:44 | Anyone aware if why this fell on Friday? | gucci
17/3/2015 16:56 | We got a trading update on 26th March last year. Now that the financial year to end Feb 2015 has closed I hope that we get an update within this month also. Especially considering that there is a full time market communications manager on board!! Come on FDP give us a very positive update! | moorsie2
03/3/2015 14:23 | We are in a very narrow £13 trading range for 4 months now. The EGM has passed and the new shares are issued at £13 now from today so I would expect to se this trading range broken to the upside in the month of March.. | moorsie2
02/3/2015 12:04 | Could be a useful addition if it really enhances earnings from the get-go. I wonder what multiple they are paying? Quite a differential between the initial and the maximum! | mach100
02/3/2015 11:02 | bb, of course... doh :) | scottishfield
01/3/2015 22:15 | RNS's on the 26th S.F. | battlebus2
01/3/2015 20:59 | wheres that from please slacker? | scottishfield |
