04/7/2018 14:36 | I have tried to buy online through Halifax sd and they claim there is no stock available for electronic quote. Can only buy with an order, at a price they choose. Is this true of other platforms? Has anyone else had problems, or is this another H sd exclusive? | bamboo2
04/7/2018 14:13 | Thank you for update GHF | sebass
04/7/2018 13:48 | FireAngel Safety Technology Courtesy update following a chat with the company. * Stocks - AGM update reiterated guidance in the preliminary result statement. The company previously anticipated that with the removal of the DA would lead to retailers reducing inventory (First Alert & BRK products). Pleasingly they are now beginning to stock the new lines of FireAngel products. * Contracts - The company are targeting opportunities in respect of multi-year contracts via FireAngel Predict which will find them changing from a hardware supplier to a tech provider. The company spoke of a number of opportunities in this area. * Cashflow - The outstanding monies to Newall (£10.9m) clearly spooked the market but this related to normal creditor balances, DA fee & also cost of stock delivered up to 31.03.18. The outstanding balance was structured to even out cashflow demands. Company satisfied that cash more than adequate & confident it will rebound in 2019 as no £2.9m DA payment due; Newall payable position unwound; WC commitments for tooling upfront in 2018, one off due to change to FLEX & F East supplier; & move to improving margins. Adamant 3-year revolving credit facility more than adequate. I sensed again that they “kitchen sinked” with recent result announcement. * CO sales - Following success of Project Shout the company are engaged in similar media campaign in Germany which only has 1% CO detector penetration despite 10x times level of CO deaths to UK. The company have their own sensor & therefore can command higher margins. Less competition in this space. * Home Connected - as per update on “ContractsR * Germany - Pushing ahead with developments. Replacement cycle upon them (10 years since first alarms installed) & clear demand for connected alarm offering. Retail appears to be strengthening due to relationship with Siemens & other channels opening up for sales. The market moving to the higher margin connected alarms that the company have developed will be key here alongside opportunity to expand level of CO detector sales given the v low penetration to date. Overall I got the impression of a company that were working flat out to address recent disappointment & hell-bent on proving that the time & monies spent on developing connected solutions were worthwhile. I believe that once evidence on the recurring revenue nature of their connected offering becomes apparent then the company will undergo a significant re-rating. Market Cap is only £31m now and to think in 2014 they delivered over £10m op profit & cashflow. Disclosure - Been nibbling away @70p level. Kind regards GHF | glasshalfull

30/6/2018 17:24 | Excellent GHF. I think there is a decent chance that we have seen the bottom, so I added a few more on Friday to what is a fairly modest position. | 20heronsmead

30/6/2018 15:07 | Hi GHF, Hope all is well. Richard Beddard wrote a piece on the company last week - had a couple of generalisations - but looks a fair appraisal: Sprue Aegis: Do this and they'll be 'dirt cheap' Chart wise, on the weekly, it's found support at a pivot point from 2011: | simon gordon
