Just what I heard from hugepants before now, but my hunch is that they will be relisted before Christmas.

I received an email from Ogg Lay Ann on 02 December stating 'to expect something in the post shortly'.

Don't know what it could be but hopefully what you've mentioned Lord Santafe. Is that just a hunch on your part? Been a long 18 months wait but if they came back above 1p then it will be well the long wait.

Lets hope we get an update early next year, and that these shares are relisted by March.

If you like such stocks then PMA may interest you. The annual report should be out by end of June in FPS.

Hi HugePants, I got the below reply from Mr Tony FitzSimmons yesterday. Ogg Lay Ann is happy to take my shares of me at 0.20p but I'm going to hold out now for more than 1p which was the cash in the accounts at minimum. Keep my 487,000 shares tuck away. They are looking to do an acquisition and I believe if so will return to the market at well north of 2p.

'You may not have noticed that the EGM in May approved the delay in the deadline for a suitable acquisition until 2012. The accounts and an update to investors are being worked on at the moment'.

Most of the cash was still in China last we heard. Hopefully theyve made some progress in getting it out. I think they had perhaps 0.25p per share in cash NOT in China which they could have returned promptly but have, as you say, changed their mind.
FPS is still a PLC so must have accounts published by the end of this month. Hopefully we'll know a bit more soon.

I've sent an email to the above email addresses as per below:-

'I have gathered over the last few days that the website for investors is also now down'.
'I think the silence treatment and lack of communication to all investors has not been fair when a clear indication to return the balance shown in the accounts in the absence of an acquisition was due to happen in January 2009 as per the last set of accounts'.

LOL, whatever makes you happy, I don't have my cash tied up in this unquoted stock where the directors have announced they're not paying out anyhting to shareholde4rs, why should I care. You've shown your 'expertise', much joy may it bring you.

You lose credibility the way you continually concoct falsehoods. Still you are good at that. Show me one post where I said people would make huge profits. I merely highlighted this stock when it was trading at 30% of its estimated net cash. And to educate you further , investing is about risk/reward. The risk/reward when I highlighted this stock was very good. And I still expect to make a substantial profit in my investment. Just because it didnt happen 5 minutes after I invested doesn't mean its a bad investment.

As for highlighting problems in the accounts, these are already full of write-downs. You have no idea how to analyze a set of accounts.

LOL got to laugh at anyone who imagines I'm a day trader, too daft for words !
What I am, however, is deeply sceptical of most claims made on BBs like this, and the one absolute fact is that while you and that robber Treacle were banging on about how you'd be making huge profits from the cash you saw in this stock by January 2009, and telling me I was 100% wrong to doubt it, here we are in April '09 and all you've got from the company is "There will not be a distribution of any funds back to the shareholders in 2008 or 2009".

And far from imagining problems in the accounts, I highlighted real issues - the facts are, you've not made the profit you boasted you would, you can't sell your stock at a profit, and there's no sign of cash being paid out. Your posts show that you didn't expect to be in this position, and why you mention them investing the cash I can't imagine, as that was never what you hoped for. But fine, keep telling yourself you're the only person marching in time and the rest of the world is out of step.

We're not all day traders like yourself. Some people are prepared to wait for a return on their investment. And I see you've fallen into the trap of thinking just because a company has delisted its worthless. Funny a lot of advfn posters think that. Its quite likely it will turn out that FPSs' cash stuck in a Chinese bank will have been the best place for it. Im glad they didn't have it available to invest 9 months ago.

And we'll have the 09 accounts soon. Your analysis of the 08 ones was something to behold. Concocting liabilities where none exist isnt standard accounting practice as far as Im aware.

Yeah this Lay Ann character is inconsistent at best. The accounts clearly stated a return of cash at end of Dec 2008. So he's changed his mind.

Thankyou for the update, and hopefully FPS will be relisting next year on the Plus Markets or back to AIM.

Regarding FPS to do this, then surely they will have to notify the existing shareholders and get their agreement before this can happen?.

I got this on the 30th of December HugePants:- not too happy when 1p should be returned to shareholders.
