25/2/2021 09:09 | At least you would seem to have made a good few schillings over the years! | bazworth
25/2/2021 09:08 | Smiley face. I guess change is afoot along with some interesting developments. Smells of early news leak or something along those lines due in a few weeks or month or 2. Not immediately after CEO buy but big enough to make a difference imho for those willing to wait. Price moves first. | p1nkfish
25/2/2021 09:02 | They are offering me 9.55p to sell. I'm asking 14p so computer says no. | my retirement fund
25/2/2021 08:59 | Not enough sir, not enough! As documented I've ridden the wave from 7.5 to 11p a few times last year. You can't win them all. | beeks of arabia
25/2/2021 08:56 | Beeks, Thought you had kept some, hope so!? | bazworth
25/2/2021 08:48 | Break out? | my retirement fund
24/2/2021 22:25 | It was a very strong buying finish as well, so would expect it to start well in the morning. | beeks of arabia
24/2/2021 13:54 | Very strong buying in the wake of the director buy. Hope this was on watchlists rather than being bought on the basis of people seeing it on the leader board. Would be nice to consolidate at 9p +. | wageslave
24/2/2021 13:45 | Don’t know, sorry. Perhaps send an email and ask? | bazworth
24/2/2021 13:29 | What are the 'rifht of use assets' they mention - I don't quite understand those? | cyberbub
24/2/2021 13:23 | Chart could pop any time on news. | p1nkfish
24/2/2021 13:21 | They have a manufacturing base paid for that can leveraged as new business arrives. Costs will be spread over a larger revenue figure as it grows and margins should expand nicely. New business could land any time in backhaul, defence etc. Trying to time it is guesswork but I'm pretty sure it will happen as they have too many trends in their favour. | p1nkfish
24/2/2021 13:18 | Bazworth I was just looking at those results. The balance sheet and cashflow seem ok.However they're only making less than 10% EBITDA margin and there's a lot of 'D' taking place (I appreciate that's not a cash measure). However what's going to send this company back to 30p say? (£60M valuation approx). At a p/e of 15 they would need to be making £4M pre tax profit, so probably trebling revenues at least. Is that likely?Do they have any valuable IP that might be of interest to a buyer? | cyberbub
24/2/2021 13:01 | cyberbub Read the latest results RNS and have a look at the last 18months. You will find that FTC appear to have put themselves into a strong position for growth to occur. The recent results & outlook: Outlook When the impact of Covid eventually subsides, we expect critical communications and telecoms markets to benefit from an increased level of investment and an acceleration in the rollout of 5G networks. In the longer term, the Group is well placed to explore opportunities beyond E-band as new W-band and D-band licences are released. Filtronic has developed unique solutions for the HAPS market and we now require decisions regarding operating frequency bands to create momentum in this market segment. We are particularly encouraged by recent UK Government commitments to an increased level of defence spending; the decision to develop a UK based LEO satellite capability; and the intent to establish a robust sovereign telecoms technology supply chain. A strengthening orderbook, improving customer forecasts and recent contract wins position us well for growth and profitability in H2 FY2021. Reg Gott | bazworth
24/2/2021 11:47 | Of course every man and his monkey believes you...don't try to make yourself look any more intelligent than others...you have been found out... Obviously i'm disappointed at my decision yesterday, can't win them all. I'm honest enough to put my trading on here when I do buy and sell (which is often). You do unfortunately cop some flack as well ! | diku
24/2/2021 11:23 | When will this get taken out? | my retirement fund
24/2/2021 11:15 | Funny old game! Honestly cannot remember how long I've been here but recall having an extremely tasty paper profit when they hit 29 / 30p a few years ago. I was unfortunately unable to trade at that time and, possibly like others, have sat and watched them since then, extremely frustrating!! I've been accumulating and hold a reasonable no. @ circa 8.24p average price. There are numerous positives here and if a few come good then we're 'off to the races'!! Cheers | bazworth
24/2/2021 11:06 | Obviously i'm disappointed at my decision yesterday, can't win them all. I'm honest enough to put my trading on here when I do buy and sell (which is often). You do unfortunately cop some flack as well ! FTC have a habit of allowing people back in so will watch quietly from now on. I'd rather not encourage any share price rises at the moment for purely selfish reasons :) | beeks of arabia
24/2/2021 11:05 | flow - hopefully.... | bazworth
24/2/2021 11:01 | Its the old habits die hard thingy...go with the flow.. | diku
