24/2/2021 11:23 | When will this get taken out? | my retirement fund
24/2/2021 11:15 | Funny old game! Honestly cannot remember how long I've been here but recall having an extremely tasty paper profit when they hit 29 / 30p a few years ago. I was unfortunately unable to trade at that time and, possibly like others, have sat and watched them since then, extremely frustrating!! I've been accumulating and hold a reasonable no. @ circa 8.24p average price. There are numerous positives here and if a few come good then we're 'off to the races'!! Cheers | bazworth
24/2/2021 11:06 | Obviously i'm disappointed at my decision yesterday, can't win them all. I'm honest enough to put my trading on here when I do buy and sell (which is often). You do unfortunately cop some flack as well ! FTC have a habit of allowing people back in so will watch quietly from now on. I'd rather not encourage any share price rises at the moment for purely selfish reasons :) | beeks of arabia

24/2/2021 09:20 | Good to see. Wait. | p1nkfish
24/2/2021 07:44 | Good point BazThis isn't a cash rich ftse 100. No director ever has to put his hand in his pocket, it's free will. Whatever the amount it's a positive. | beeks of arabia
24/2/2021 07:37 | We have no idea about their personal financial situation and therefore should not criticise the size of the purchase. Filtronic are not paying the Directors huge salaries so any share purchase, in my view, is positive. £19k is a good chunk of cash, at least it is in my world! The boss was also granted a good number of options a little while ago, he therefore has a very good incentive to see success in the business and the share price should follow. | bazworth
24/2/2021 07:32 | Mesquisa - haha! You cant get them all right! | beeks of arabia
24/2/2021 07:31 | True enough, about £23k spent in total by 3 of them a year ago. All a bit low key really. | donald pond
24/2/2021 07:24 | A number of Directors bought about 12-18 months ago, I think at a similar or higher price. | bazworth
24/2/2021 07:19 | Better than nothing but at this price you'd like to see more director buys. Another couple down here and the price might start reacting. | donald pond
24/2/2021 07:10 | Well Beeks, it was good of you to give the new man a cheap buying opportunity ! | mesquida
24/2/2021 07:10 | Pleased to see that the boss has put his toe into the water! | bazworth

23/2/2021 20:32 | Bet they wished they had taken profits now Averaging down is not considered to be a sound strategy Falling in love with a share likewise One needs to be adjustable , like a well made spanner Boeing now in trouble again , one wonders if espionage is involved as too many bad things happening in a short time frame does not look like coincidental imo Beeks of Arabia26 Jan '21 - 09:06 - 4611 of 4809 0 0 0 Conversations seems.to heading towards extreme speculation here!
