Wonder what the long term goal of the Dixon’s is....? Other than making shedloads on their FTC shares!

Legal sold another 1% or so after hours RNS, no effect on book today looks like we will see another TR1 from Dixons taken up their stock.

It is sad to see but suspect the compliance police are now running many funds and look at liquidity as risk ie they would rather you buy overpriced stocks like fever tree comforted by the fact that you could sell it in 1 day versus an extremely cheap small company that might take many days to sell. That said the performance of the legal and general small cap fund is woeful and would put anyone off active management!

If the latest buying spree by the Dixons accounts for the majority of the stock recently sold by Legals, then it rather suggests that institutional investors generally have not yet picked up on the recovery story that is now clearly unfolding here. Surely there must still be some institutional investors who are prepared to engage with small caps, if not then I can see a dearth of new companies coming to market, combined with a wave of trade bidders taking companies off market, and if that does not kick start a major bull market in small caps then I don't know what will !

Yup they are not selling open market Dixons taking up their entire holding so far, how high are they going? Market seems to be clocking on.

mesq,

According to the RNS, L@G have gone from 21M down to 9.6M.

Dixons have taken 6M so another 6M to find a home?

Apart from being serious investors, does anyone know if the Dixons have any sector knowledge or history ?

I was wondering what influence the Dixon’s could have if the company was of interest to a predator? Perhaps they would be pleased to sell, obviously at an attractive price!

11p getting tested again, next week gonna be interesting.

Worth noting since June 2019 Dixon's have added almost 10million shares and continue to increase, be interesting to see how high they go.

Been here for an age and a bit cheesed of that I didn’t take advantage of selling a chunk at about 30p 18 months ago! Made a killing with FTC in about 2002/3 and have watched their progress, or lack of it, ever since!

I’m totally relaxed over the short term as I reckon we should be onto a real winner here over the next year to 18 months. Expanding capacity and probably order book too or why else would they be recruiting etc.? The new boss, when appointed, will no doubt want to make his/her mark too!

The icing on the cake would be making a few schillings on our two years of profit share on the sold Antenna business.

Keep smiling!

They have been holders for years so nothing new.Unless they can take on all the overhang then i would think we see a pullback here.

Very nice, now we know why sellers have been very thin most stock taken up by a TR1.

Surprised market not reacted to RNS.

They seem to have tidied up a few loose ends recently and have been recruiting so I think an announcement about a new product or developments / orders perhaps on its way..
