I suppose after so long, somebody thought selling at 14.5p was a lot better than 13.5p !

Well for anyone who has been buying at 10-11p over ages, its an easy top-up decision now.

I'm not that optimistic ! 'In the fullness of time' would be more appropriate.

No not on the first day of break out. Just enjoy the ride to wherever it goes - that way you keep holding if it goes to 20, 30p+ and you chop if it only reaches 16p and fails

Is this time for the pick a target price quiz... ? Aren't shares supposed to break out the same % as the last breakout, when they've been marking time for ages ? Universal symmetry and all that. That makes 20p on a log chart

Yep done a day's volume already and the big sell order at 14p that's been holding things up has gone - looks primed for a move north imo

Fasten seat belts, looks like we are finally about to break out. Been a long time coming, hopefully it will prove to have been worth the wait. Incredible to think that we were up at this level back in August 2016, and since then the company has not put a foot wrong, but of course we have had to endure the liquidation of a key institutional holding. Enjoy the ride !!

The next 3 years should see massive growth with the implementation of 5G.

Google search "5G" and "filtronic" to see what products they are involved in.

Well I'm going to test a theory that if it breaks out properly, wait a couple of months for a pullback and then buy heavily. On the basis that a breakout should signify a re-rating that will last longer than just the one upward move. Won't complain if it never comes back though...

A lot of major winners take months or years to get past resistance, some never get past it, but those that do often move up dramatically.

Some brokers let you deal using a contingency order which I like, for example I would think that if it reached a price of 14.5 on the Bid it would be worth the risk. For example I could leave an order months ahead to buy x amount of shares if the price hit 14.5 / 15, ideal if you are away from the market for any reason.

Well, just taken some more. I'm convinced it's going to break upwards and then move quite fast into the 20s on account of all this resistance. I thought the same over the summer, mind.
