13/1/2022 13:38 | I’ve taken a small position here at 210, I need some diversity. 20% off it’s high hopefully some progress this year after what was a flat 2021 | dr biotech
17/9/2021 12:36 | Long 255 June | the white house
07/4/2021 09:34 | Added some this morning, portfolio lacking japan exposure. Discount is appealing. | mozy123
14/2/2021 13:08 | 2021, continues to perform well, forgetting the covid blip of 2020. Yet, no posts at all, totally unlike other trusts with similar profits from the past year. I have been watching the discount shrink, but given the lack of interest, perhaps this has much further to go? | bitgold
02/6/2017 12:49 | Nice progress on this in recent days... | broncowarrior
01/9/2014 20:11 | Thanks snowyclays My broker's note tells me I will be credited with the bonus issue shortly but these are sub. shares not ordinary, like I have already. Just something to tuck away for a couple of years I suppose | slogsweep
29/8/2014 17:02 | The bonus issue is only for subscription shares. They are a bit like warrants or options. They give you the right to buy ordinary shares at 86p until April 2016. Since this is above the current price there is no dilution and the subscription shares have little value. Small investors might even find that selling their bonus shares will not cover dealing costs. | snowydays
28/8/2014 20:26 | HELLO anyone out there. I have held these for some time but am unsure what effect the bonus issue will have. Will I get 20% more shares but the price will fall by 20%, or is the dilution already in the price? Who would subscribe 80 odd p for the subscription shares when they can buy in the market for 73p? is the issue under written? | slogsweep
08/3/2013 15:34 | Big discount to NAV here; let's hope that starts narrowing. & that, with the market trend continuing, should boost these. The subs have recently been converted too; so, more cash in the kitty too. | mangal
08/3/2013 15:06 | Looks like Japan is the in place to be. | knowing
25/1/2013 13:30 | if you read the book im reading about the Olympus Scandal you wouldnt put a penny, cent or yen into Jap stocks! | pomp circumstance
25/1/2013 12:18 | Yes, it's good today, but got a fair bit of making-up to do for 10 years of going nowhere! Anyway, glad I hung on to some... for now. | cyborg27
25/1/2013 11:51 | If you want currency-hedged exposure to the japanese markets try: ishares MSCI Japan monthly hedged. | mangal
25/1/2013 11:40 | For those whom have waited for this share and hence the warrants to respond to the Japanese market rise, well done. | chrisgail
20/1/2013 15:02 | Does anyone know of any japanese ITs that use currency hedging? | mangal
20/1/2013 14:35 | Trouble is the Yen keeps weakening, so stock market gains are offset. Ditched half of these 2 months ago, went into China, done very nicely. | cyborg27
04/1/2013 13:07 | Time for a run as been stagnant for quite some time. | knowing
02/3/2012 12:40 | Differential between price and NAV widening. Should see the price move higher soon. Exchange rates also moving in the right direction. | knowing
12/8/2011 11:22 | Popped a few in the ISA | the avoint |
