Roman - was light hearted word play. Personally, not in a position to buy right now but will be using in SIPP funds, hopefully at this price soon. Great long term buy imo

I assume Anthony Bolton is picking up stock at good values.Better to obtain value now than wait for a rise.If the market does fall further he can pick up more value. This is a 5 year plus holding.Patience is required.

Made: thats the opinion of the experts - not mine. This board has gone very quiet - I am just interested to see if anyone is still as bullish as they were and are willing to buy more at this price?

Would be surprised to see a 20% drop, more likely a gradual rise. Thats the trouble with you romans, you cant see round bends

why is this so volatile? Bought in at IPO.
Wouldn't expect it to do much for a while.

Why buy it? How about China becoming the powerhouse of the 21st century, with the possibility that this share has been as low as it will ever get.

Whizzy: clearly all of the recent buying has been tracker funds - nothing else. This is on a big premium - why buy it?

Anthony Bolton, Manager of the Fidelity China Special Situations portfolio, added, "Fidelity China Special Situations' inclusion in the FTSE 250 Index is good news. I have been travelling extensively in China and meeting the management of a large number of companies in order to find the best investments for the portfolio. I have been able to make the most of the market correction to purchase companies at attractive valuations and have now fully invested the proceeds from the Initial Public Offering. My enthusiasm for China after three months in the region is unstinted and I still believe it remains one of the best investment opportunities of the next decade. All markets have entered a volatile phase and although it's never easy to predict the short term direction of the market I believe this to be the normal consolidation that follows the first leg of a bull market. China was earlier into its consolidation phase than other markets and could, as it did in 2008/9, lead world markets again in the bull market's next phase."
