All drops in Sp seem to be lifted back up the following day. (Which is not the norm for this stock after a period of inactivity.)
Not sure who's controlling the Sp at the moment MM's, PI's or something larger ?

It looks like the MM's are short of stock and looking at the trades they seem to be small punters buying, maybe on the above news. The news above is new and Ive had severial alerts come through today.

I have only been buying in the last twelve months so I am a little ahead and in no desperate hurry to get big returns.

Paying dividends is all very well, however the dividend must be sustainable. Yes they can make the company more attractive to some funds but the worst thing in the world is to start paying a divi and subsequently withdraw it. At this stage in the company's development I am more than happy that they put their cash back into developing the business.

As far as a takeover is concerned, taking over small comapnies like FFA does not always work well for the purchaser. Small companies depend critically on key technical people and on the business side, major companies will have key relationships with FFA's directors. That all chnages when a lerger company takes over. Although it might be possible to acquire FFA more cheaply now, it can be a safer bet to wait util the company is more established and not so dependent on critical employees and business relationships.

SM,

I bought into FFA on share price growth 9yrs ago and seen very little until this January. Now FFA have turned the corner and now making money and the business is growing rapidly I would expect a Divi to be paid sooner rather than later.
One of the advantages of paying a divi is it raises the company profile and puts FFA into a different league where fund managers look to invest and put money into safer companies thus raising the share price and balancing out going ex divi. We would get the best of both worlds, a share price rise and an income through a divi.
When PTS starting paying a divi they saw a 300% increase in the share price over a 12month, however they hit an iceberg "MF Global's business" and previous to that the lehman brothers collapse leading to the ION takeover after share price collapse.

Bugs,

Not sure too many of us bought these looking for a divi, I am more interested in share price growth. I am willing to be corrected on this.

Also when you have large stake holders whom are potential bidders, why pay a divi and enrich them even more while making your share price go down. ( ex div share price ).

SM.

Not too bad at all, only disapointment is no mention of a Divi but a million less in the bank understandble however at this level it would take a bid of around 24p to 26p take over FFA now and as we go further forward maybe 30p.

A huge difference to 18 months ago when a bid of 12p would have done it.

I'm still here LOL....Things are moving along very nicely at FFA these days......I think ION missed a great chance to take out FFA 12 months ago and at 1/2 the price they going to have to pay out now, and we can't rule out Cinnober Financial Technology they have deep pockets also.

Good to see you're still here Bugs, its certainly looking more positive for FFA both technically and fundamentally. Its hard not to see that the only way is up in the short term. (Awaiting for the next co. spanner in the works as we speak...)

If this co is going to get bid for surely now would be a golden opportunity before its gets a lot more expensive or maybe Ions view is owning PATs and being a majority shareholder in its nearest rival. Still a win, win for them if business increases. Just speculating of course.

Now let's speculate what could cause this share price movement.
1. Positive news in the trading statement, Due out soon. "Very Possible"
2. Another contract win. "Possible"
3. MM's short on stock. "Could be"
4. Possible bid, "Very unlikely"
