06/9/2017 14:38 | O/T I'm sure most here would have noticed (in your regular scans of movers of the beverages groups, etc) if look this one - Stock Spirits Group (STCK) thread, now that is a reasonable rise in the past month I've been watching that one thanks to the poster '3rd eye' flagged that up on the FAR9 thread (that I like to glance at for an occasional chuckle). | martywidget
06/9/2017 08:38 | August 3, 2017 Demand for Fevertree still bubbling -------------------- Fevertree Drinks (FEVR) says customers still want to buy its premium mixers, and it appears that institutional investors can’t get enough of its shares. Co-founder and chief executive Tim Warrillow sold 1.5m shares at 1,925p each last week, banking £29m, while non-executive chairman Bill Ronald offloaded 50,000 shares at 2,083p each as well. A Fevertree spokesperson said the sales were done to increase liquidity and meet heightened demand from institutional investors following recent results. | christh
06/9/2017 08:32 | It will get back to £25 today, watch out. It was a good summer for Fevertree so will expect the results to be miles ahead of expectations. The expansion to mainland China will be the catalyst to becoming one of the top exporters of the world and top earner for Fevertree. The production has doubled which means the demand has increased and therefore the revenue will be 4 times the earnings of 2016. Keep Buying. | christh

29/8/2017 07:58 | Not disputing the excellence of fever tree . Indeed I was served a g & t in an up market brasserie and was horrified when they handed me Schweppes tonic water . Even easy jet give you fevertree! I was simply posing a general question about other companies with high P/E ratios . I'm perfectly aware of forward growth and ratings. Indeed i' m often surprised when the market does not factor in growth . | 1savvyinvestor
28/8/2017 19:26 | MartyWidget 27 Aug '17 - 06:13 - 1163 of 1168 FEVER-TREE HAS DRIVEN 99% OF THE VALUE GROWTH IN THE ENTIRE UK MIXER CATEGORY WITHIN RETAIL IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS AND NOW HOLDS A 30% VALUE SHARE A 30% value share of the entire UK mixer category is impressive Can Fevertree maintain exponential growth with or even without exposure to margin competition? | muffinhead
27/8/2017 21:28 | Actually the PE is 69 and they are well ahead of forecasts so the PE is probably under 50. If you were to value them on a PEG basis 100%+ growth and a PE of 50 would mean a PEG of 0.5 - a steal. And the 2018 PE is possibly even much lower. | value king
27/8/2017 19:33 | '1savvyinvestor23 Aug '17 - 15:52 - 1142 of 1166 0 0 Just out of interest what other other companies are on a p/e of over 100' If you think FEVR is on a P/E of over 100 then, with all due respect to you, you haven't a clue what you are on about. Share prices reflect the future - if investors believe that the 'official' consensus number for earnings is too low then the shares revalue to the 'whisper' number which is much more variable. When the actual announced figures exceed even the 'whisper' number the shares rise. So if you believe that the 'whisper number' will keep rising as I do then the shares are still cheap. | terry topper

26/8/2017 22:27 | In 2014, EY predicted the premium segment would make up 16.5 per cent of the wider mixer category: Fever-Tree now has a 24 per cent share of the entire UK mixer market. . | muffinhead
26/8/2017 22:06 | Annual gin sales rose 16% to smash through the £1bn barrier for the first time in the UK, leading the drink industry to declare 2016 the “year of gin. About 40m bottles were sold over the past 12 months, enough to make 1.12bn gin and tonics, or roughly 28 for every person of legal drinking age in the UK, according to the Wine and Spirit Trade Association. This was an increase of 200m G&Ts compared with 2012” How much growth in Fevertree UK revenue is left in a market of 1.12bn gin and tonics? . | muffinhead

25/8/2017 15:20 | And for those not participating in such a healthy lifestyle, perhaps then maybe they should produce a drink for the day after the night before! | martywidget
25/8/2017 15:19 | Perhaps there may also be a potential to tap into and target a part of the more healthy sports drinks area for those willing to part with their money. For example, if you look at high5, Science in Sport [uk listed LSE: SIS], and PowerBar - looking at some of the ingredients in these products the I think there is some room for improvement in this area, that may appeal to many that actually consume Fevertree products that may when they're not partying perhaps also have a more active sporty lifestyle. | martywidget
