So for 50p more I can get Fever Tree? No brainier really. I can't see many of the Fever Tree crowd switching to Lidl just to save a few pence, no matter how close the taste is. If you drew a Venn diagram of Fever Tree cos unwrap and Lidl shoppers, I bet there isn't much of an overlap.

orissanderThe bottling looks cheap but if it tastes as good as Fever, which I doubt it will, then it shouldn't be ignored.......time will tell.DD

Also lidl customers are different from premium gin customers.
GBP weakness helps fevertree exports.

Schweppes lost with good premium mixers, do you think lidl can compete?
If i find them here in Italy I will try them and comment here. But I am doubtful.
And they dont have the low calories range where people are going these days.
If you see in many supermarkets you can find copycat tonic.

KRM looks interesting. Always good to get in on some of these IPOs in the early days to catch some quick money.I bought GRC the day after it IPO'd. I got in at 1.05 and it's nearly doubled in 6 weeks. Still holding.

Christh
hope you don't mind me asking but what is the point of posting this old info?

firstly: I just noticed it,and to those who missed it
Secondly: to show the confidence of the directors in the company
thirdly: Because it will boost the morale of the investors.

---------------------------------------------------
09 April 2018

Fevertree Drinks plc ("Fever-Tree" or the "Company")

Director/PDMR Shareholding

Fever-Tree, the world's leading supplier of premium carbonated mixers, announces that on 9 April 2018, Kevin Havelock, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, bought, in aggregate, 10,000 ordinary shares of 0.25 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a volume weighted average price of 2,683.26 pence per Ordinary Share.

In other words he paid £268,326.00 for 10,000 shares.
That is serious money!

He must be very confident that he will double/treble his money.

I feel confident too, that £33 is around the corner.

Hi rich, no problem.

I have found it is very good discipline to have to try to describe and justify charting and dealing processes. Also, I can look back and see what I was thinking at the time. I have updated the chart just now, and will come back in a while to add some more blurb to this post. [Using IE at the mo and it is like walking through mud.]

rich, Is the arrow pointing to the turn you mentioned?

What looks at first to be a simple system, has its complications. This is one, where the turn occurs between two days. Which day is it? I just try to use initiative and experience, to work out which way, if any, it is going to go. If for example, a turn occurs between two days, when say an update is due, and the prior trend has been down, I would probably be buying the day before.

In this case, the turn seems to be the top of the wick today. [nr historical resistance]
