Just think of the ready to drink pre-mixed can possibilities for Fevertree, either themselves or partnering up with spirits producers. That is exciting!

Blimey, lots of posts here... Anyway, thanks bamboo... on my daily chart a possible Head&Shoulders (neckline 2300?) top building otherwise upper uptrend still intact. I have no feel for further valuation upside unfortunately, as mentioned in previous posts. Off-Topic I second, third or whatever the TD Direct Platform, now owned by Interactive Investor, as being very good. I have researched Hargreaves Lansdown which looks great for information (free to outsiders anyway) and wide services spread. However, costs are difficult to evaluate and I suspect they are higher than one might expect at first glance. They don't do foreign markets, in foreign currencies, as TD Direct do, so a definite lack of scope there imv. They are quoted and highly profitable it seems (like St James' Place) - I usually avoid excessively profitable companies when choosing a service ;-)!

I find TD Direect, who have recently been taken over by iii, to be very good indeed. All their on-line sites are excellent.

IG also stated they are getting thousands of clients from Barclays - seem really helpful on the phone

Thinking of HGL or IG who control my spread bet positions - probably go with the latter as I can then move stuff between quickly

I'm with Barclays and will move - you have to log in through pin sentry and it's combined with all your bank accounts - I don't like that - charges are also going up !

bambooThanks, hadn't read the holdings RNS just went straight to the numbers!.....even though it does mention the merger and the reasons as you say for the update.Fevertree website gives 8.16% for Standard Life so assume Aberdeen Asset Management held 0.65%.DD
