To the tune of Yellow Submarine -"Going up, going down.Going up, going down.Going up, going down.Going up, going down."Someone, somewhere is making a killing off these daily price manipulations (cough) I mean moves.

I think FT are pretty good at keeping things simple and remembering that the tonic is not what you enjoy the drink most for. It's the gin people buy and enjoy - the tonic just there doing it's job... it doesn't need to be fancy, but it needs to do a bloody good job!Think Sue Barker, Ant and Dec, Dermot O'Leary, Wogan. All people who are there and do everything expected of them yet go pretty much unnoticed... until they are not there any more!

Stating the obvious, or perhaps not so obvious to lots on here, Google Trends provides a useful insight into penetration of regions knowledge of Fever-tree / Fever tree, etc -by the inquisitive nature of search. Draw your own conclusions. Experiment with the search for different regions etc over time [alter timeframes, regions/countries, etc, add your own search for comparisons, experiment over time, etc]. Use Google Trends for an indicator of search... expect to recover by the end of the day. The institutions as always will pile in. It might close around £19.80

Already in the report that 56% of the sales are from abroad. The production has doubled, the results are way ahead of expectations. Results in January, will run to £30 as earnings are risen.

The news says that Artisan Partners bought 5.17%. The price would have plummeted if they don't. That's scary. (in the short term). But I am not worried in the long term. Long Fevr.l

Artisan have bought a big chunk, so dropping the share price and a bit of verbal diarrhoea from press tipsters seems to have worked a treat in relieving PI's of some of their shares. Why would they stop now? if I was them I would carry on buying with this new market paradigm of the more we buy the further the share price falls ??

+ 1 on the Monster Beverage case study. Many similarities here with FEVR - brand, niche, driving growth in their market etc. Not saying it will be another 700 bagger but the growth opportunities are huge. And Monster didn't go up in a straight line either. I do think there are some shenanigans going on behind the scenes but as a long term holder I'm not really bothered.

Oriss - I don't think people have got much to say really, as we don't really understand the full meaning of the fluctuations? :-). It would be nice to think the share price will recover now these Artisan guys have taken a stake. Do people think that the MMs have been driving the price down to buy on their behalf, maybe? Guess people are a bit weary (and wary!) after the last 2 weeks of activity here. If I am being optimistic it feels to me as though the funds are trying to drive out PIs with tree shakes, if pessimistic then people here are getting jumpy. I hope it's the former!
