Washington is said to be preparing a 1 trillion infrastructure stimulus package to help get the worlds largest economy back in its feet. Most of the money is likely to be earmarked for projects such as roads and bridges, according to Bloomberg.

Nice to see it falling back slightly rather than surging forward too quickly. That bodes well for tomorrow (I'll probably have to eat my own words on that one!)
So, put my neck on the line, over £2.00 tomorrow and holding?

I am hoping that this is the start of a further rise above £2.00 and then to hold about that marker before climbing up towards £2.50.
We shall see.

Hi Arja,

Interesting article on Ukraine/Russian ties and the tug of war between different factions - pro-western/pro-russian.

Hi Foxy,

I think results are overwhelmingly good!
The problem is going to be Zhevago ongoing, longer term drop in ore prices and global economic situation. And then there are the things we don't know about or cannot predict - Ukraine political situation and relationship with Russia and Zelensky's chances of a second term.

Disappointed in today's drop but seems to be in line with sector.

Bellbottom was just interested whether u saw value in these beaten up stocks....know traders investors who have made recently on the carnivals etc.On your other point ferrexpo has risk attached to it ...I get the feeling they want to get zhevago....and the astute analyst from Concorde does raise the potential negatives on s/p.....

Hi Foxy,

Have traded many diverse shares over 20 years.
I can see the potential of IAG and EZJ but I'd have to change tack and start day trading - with the current state of global economy, too many risks for massive swings and calling it wrong. I'm tempted to turn all into cash and wait it out until more certain times, but still holding fxpo for the time being as well up on investment and can see further gains, but who knows in these strange times?

Shame about the ongoing Zhevago situation holding the share price back.

dow and US futures tanking means that very few stocks will not open sharply down and mining stocks may be hit the most as it will again be risk OFF . But the dow is so volatile and let's hope it recovers in afternoon !
