I see the reason for yesterday's rise. The price of iron ore rocketed:

Top sliced myself and put a small amount into Walkers crisps. According to Inside the Factory last night on BBC2, During Lockdown sales across the UK rose by 30% as shoppers spent £63m on packet snacks in one week! They are sending out an extra 1000 pallets of Walkers crisps every 24hrs!No mention of FXPO in the Sunday Times anyway

7250 thanks for the link BB. Interesting that FXPO shares continued to rally despite the S&P downgrade.

Yesterday's morning spike was most unexpected, and most welcome. I managed to sell enough at ~205p to pay a credit card bill. Didn't have the guts to sell more - far too risky.

Historic P/E of 3.5. Current P/E of ~3. Even with the various corporate governance issues, still significantly undervalued. Obviously won't attract a premium price while Dr Z is linked to the company. £4 would be reasonable... 6x earnings.

Did anyone find if / where we were tipped at the weekend?

Yes. Totally. Big sell went through yesterday. I'm in for the long haul now. I can see bigger profits, bigger dividends and share buy backs.

When it hit 200p + yesterday this has risen 100% from the recent lows - naturally some will bank a profit - Ferrexpo is profitable but risky - you never know what’s around the corner with this one.

Perhaps a disgruntled II took the opportunity to reduce stake? Seems short-sighted but WDIK.

What the h*ll just happened there? I go out for a couple of hours, I come back and it's dropped from 208 to 192p.

A packet to made if you bought early and sold at lunchtime. You just can't take this share for granted?

Is there bad news waiting to be released or have I missed some news item this afternoon?
