23/1/2020 12:41 | SARS wasnt that bad.
Was in Hong Kong at the time.
Hit property values quite hard(but that was absent the Mainland China purchasing uplift of the last few years)
But as to general daily life, little seemed to change but the "hand wash dispensers on every elevator" and people walking around with those small farcical masks that really were useless in the big scheme of things.
Ebola will be far worse imo than this CoronaVirus (assuming they are not actually linked!) | crossing_the_rubicon
23/1/2020 12:39 | Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) was first discovered in Asia in February 2003. The outbreak lasted approximately six months as the disease spread to more than two dozen countries in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia before it was stopped in July 2003. | r9505571
23/1/2020 12:38 | Wuhan lockdown, China Coronavirus spread fears, and Lunar New Year when nearly everyone travels!!!
No wonder basic commodities are down.
Any severe outbreak in China means economy screeching to a halt.
Anyone believe China GDP is growing at 6.1% odd??? | crossing_the_rubicon
23/1/2020 12:27 | >>The iron ore price outlook has weakened ....>>
Oil and copper too. | zho | |
23/1/2020 12:25 | The iron ore price outlook has weakened ahead of a major Chinese holiday on fears that a coronavirus strain outbreak could delay the spring restart of construction projects. There are traders who stocked up on a lot of cargoes earlier, now hurrying to hedge by shorting on SGX or DCE. They expect the Wuhan virus outbreak could last for a few months if it is like the Sars in 2003," the trader said. | r9505571
23/1/2020 12:14 | 4% down for no real reason again, probably why this one isn't edging higher. | thags

22/1/2020 17:12 | look like there is a steady seller who prevent the share going up. It seems to hover around at current level for some time now. Some brokers are managing the sell process? | carer
21/1/2020 08:51 | Farrugia - look at https://www.ferrexpo.com/sites/default/files/attachments/Dividend%20Letter%20July%202019%20draft.pdf and search on 'reclaiming', or search on "reclaiming Swiss withholding tax on dividends".
I can't remember the details now but when I looked into this years ago I thought that reclaiming the tax was more trouble than it was worth. | zho
20/1/2020 20:25 | I got the dividend but I think I was debited 35% in taxes - how do I reclaim this - if I can? | farrugia
20/1/2020 13:51 | Considerably more sells than buys throughout the day yet share price remaining strong as they want your shares.A big buyer in the background? | grechen
20/1/2020 09:26 | orm expecting a great week, with the seller out!Mcap of 3 mil can not justify 5.5 mil cash and another asset without debts!Feel Sorry for previous shareholders who got the -70% drop after the sell of tungsten mine, but cash is twice the mcap without debts! | costax1654x
17/1/2020 16:36 | are you sure about this Swiss tax thing? For once we haven't finished down on a Friday! | harry3021
17/1/2020 10:06 | with the stock so cheap and Swiss based company takes much dividend income, this company might be a very good take over target, if the few major shareholders are willing to sell. You never know this might happen. very much agree with some posts, this is ridiculously cheap company for some reason. The price is sensitive to limited buying and selling as it is majority owned by a few. | carer
16/1/2020 08:46 | orm 3 mil mcap,6 mil of cash after the sale of tungsten mine,no Debts!(need shareholders approval).Other 2 Gold-copper assets left!It will rally soon,Company will RNS this coming week,plans for the money! | costax1654x

15/1/2020 11:10 | For what it's worth, and I'd state, 'very little.' Here's the latest so called 'broker forecast, this time from Barclays Capital. Raised from 110p to 140p. Ha ha!
Only 11:00am and been up over 161p and now back down just over 156p. Trying to break out but not yet succeeding. Only a matter of time.
The question tomorrow is, do I buy more fxpo shares with the dividend or keep as cash?

15/1/2020 10:32 | orm mcap 3 mil, cash 6 mil,no Debts!Plus Gold assets!Distressed Seller due to the sale of tungsten mine(clear our debts and we received 6 mil extra) need shareholders approval | costax1654x
15/1/2020 10:27 | FXPO is ridiculously cheap but 161 is proving one hell of a nut to crack. Yet again we breached it for a short while, then got hit with a wall of AT sell orders that have smacked it back down again.
Is it purely technical trading or are the AT brigade seeing something we arent? | nav_mike
14/1/2020 15:22 | Gee Costax, you've picked a basket case instead of FXPO (or one of the better goldies like AAZ). Good luck. Rather you than me! | bozzy_s
14/1/2020 09:13 | ? #orm hmm!5-6 mil cash + gold assets ,no Debts all for 3 mil mcap!!!? | costax1654x
