Copied from the article in question. IMF agree to allocate $ 5.5 billion to Ukraine, with conditions.

'It is extremely important to guarantee the successes achieved in cleaning the banking system and to reimburse large expenses for taxpayers from banking decisions.'

What this means for the CEO of Ferrexpo is yet to be determined. Let us hope that it is some form of agreed large financial payment to effectively wipe his slate clean.
I am hoping that this is being negotiated in the background and will be resolved very soon, but don't hold your breath.

ET Intelligence Group: The correction in steel stocks over the past two days is likely an overreaction to a delay in trade deals involving the world’s two biggest economies. Given the favourable valuations and fundamentals, this might be an opportunity to buy.

JSW Steel, Tata SteelNSE -3.24 %, Jindal Steel & Power and state-owned SAILNSE -4.08 % corrected more than 5 per cent in the past two days after US President Donald Trump’s announcement on a likely delay in trade talks with Ch ..

Very possibly. It is quite a drop. Why else? Maybe they are teasing us and giving us one last chance to buy in cheap before they hit us with a bumper profits rns and big special dividend? Or maybe not.

Special dividend announcement (if there is one) should be tomorrow, with the XD date a week later, if last years pattern is replicated

And what a trading share if that's your bag. I imagine there are a few on here who are laughing all the way to the bank and still getting the dividend by making sure they hold on key dates.

CEO owns 50.3% of Ferrexpo. Can't see him selling or wanting to sell. He would have to be in a tight corner with no other way out. This company is expanding into the future.
It will soon be debt free. It pays a whacking dividend. CEO receives tens of millions in dividends every year. This is his baby. Out of all the companies he owns, of which there are many, this is the creme de la creme.

If he is entirely innocent, he will fight his corner and win. If not, I imagine he will come to some financial arrangement. Pay off the $104 million and some additional amount to be agreed by way of a fine. And then it will be business as normal.

This is a blip hopefully like all the other blips we've had along the way since this company floated on the FTSE in 2007.

He would have to disclose, and he would likely sell the whole lot, even a distressed price for circa 50% would be significantly more than the current share price look at the costs involved in setting up an iron ore mine of this size from scratch... we are talking about multi billions and here is one valued at a significant discount. £3 a share would be cheap. Perfect fit for Glencore IMO.

Could he have sold out already and that would explain the share price from 280p to 140p which is 50% when iron ore has only dropped around 25%??

Well there should definitely be a special divi as Mr Z will want as much cash out of this a possible while he can get it.

I wonder if potential buyers are circling as they sense a distressed seller here. He might sell out in order to protect / hide his assets.

I believe Zhevago owns / is the beneficial owner of Fevamotinico S.a.r.l

No it isn't.

Who has defended Europe and ensured its freedoms since 1945??
The US taxpayer has.

Who hasnt paid their NATO sub since 1945???

Europe hasnt.

As I said, freeloading.

Suggest you do some reading rather than peddling your anti American tripe.

From today's Evening Standard.

I welcome this being resolved as soon as possible, but doubt that it will be. Likely to drag on well into 2020. Anyone's guess as to the final result for the ex CEO.

Thags,

How is he insane. Looks perfectly sane to me. The world has freeloaded off the USA for too long.

And the Chinese have been cheating/stealing IP for decades. Do you think that is okay?

As to impeachment.

Doubt it will happen.
#Russiagate - a farce.
#Ukrainegate, also a farce.
Democrats led by crackpots cant accept they lost in 2016..and will likely lose in 2020.

An economic slowdown is the only thing that will stop Trump 2020.

So expect a slowdown to come Summer onwards.
